Dropping Connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this router up in an attempt to solve the overheating issues my high end linksys router was experiencing since the day I picked it up. After the intial setup, I was impressed with the speeds and decided to play Titanfall and test it. Strangely, the router wouldn't connect to the servers properly and I kept getting dumped off of them. Later on, I noticed I was receiving terrible download speeds throughout my house. I tested and learned that it wasn't my ISP, but the router. The wireless strength also continued to drop horribly. Before this, I had tried the Netgear nighthawk ac 1900 R7000. It had the same servers problems with Titanfall, but it held a constant download speed and strong connection. Finally, I returned this and purchased the Asus AC2400 router and have been extremely satisfied since then.

Best mid - high end gaming router for the money

This router handles it with ease with great optimization options for a family with a little one who is usually gaming or streaming video from one of the many streaming channels. The Nighthawk X6 has been perfect and I would certainly recommend it.

It’s a router. A very large one

I didn’t like it sitting in my living room. Looks like a dead beetle. It worked fine, but didn’t do much for range compared with my ASUS AC1900 router.
