My router went out. I did some research and saw this was a pretty good one. I have a older modem and was afraid that it wouldn't be good enough for the new router I was wrong router works great. I know I should have changed modem also but was hoping to get away without the added expense since the router is up there in price. But it is well worth it. Easy to setup as well. Did have to call provider so they could reset modem on there side so it could hook up correctly.

Installed in a two-story house with all kinds of strange walls and obstructions to the signal path. Excellent performance, high speed, coverage throughout every square foot of the house and the yard outside surrounding it.

Setup was easy. Upgraded from the nighthawk dual band AC1900. Coverage increased and consistently held the speed.

Our old Netgear router was doing the job, but our new one is really great. We have many TVs, a gamer, multi-computers and a couple working from home, so we really pull the power. No freeze ups any more. Everything just breezes along.

I have a steel beam in my home that attenuated wifi signal in seating area. As a result I have two Att uverse b/g routers located on the ends of the house. Even with the combination I couldn't get full rate wifi in many areas of the home. With the Netgear x6 router set up on one end of the house as an access point, I am getting full rate wifi throughout the home and outside the home for all devices. Easy to setup. Netgear support was also very good. I really like this router.

Significant improvement in range and strength of signal vs. many other wireless routers I've had over the past year.

This Wi-Fi router was installed in a building-setting to provide coverage for 3 small classrooms and a newly installed SmartTV. The setup was far easier than getting the cable into the small space I was working in! Functionally this unit outperforms my expectations. Directional setting for enhanced coverage is a plus.

The Netgear - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router (R8000) - Black Netgear - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router has worked out to be an good (albeit expensive) upgrade from an older wireless N router which seemed to be under some stress caused by multiple users' devices being connected to it. The R9000 eliminated this problem but I was still forced to by a range extender to get a decent signal to the top floor of the very old four story townhouse in which the equipment is located.

Easy to setup and incredible speeds through two story 3,000 square foot house with 10+ devices.

Very fast router. Can stream uhd to TV and have multiple users on at the same time. Router has great coverage.

Evan in split level house there is full coverage. All rooms have 4 bars so much better than previous units.

Been having the product for more than a month, so far its working amazing. We have about 6 devices running through the wifi at a time and it doesn't slow it down at all. However the downside is the range, i thought the range was going to be wider, we have a guest house on the back and i can't connect my xbox with the wifi. But overall its an awesome device and i would recommend it to others.

Great WIFI Router. Initial setup was a little tricky. I bought this router in early January 2021, just about the time Netgear released a firmware upgrade for it. Unfortunately I was not aware of the upgrade. When trying to setup router kept getting "hung" and trying to repeat setup.....finally went on Netgear forum were people were talking about the firmware upgrade and how to install it. Once I got the upgrade then the router installed flawlessly and in less than 5 minutes! HAs been working great ever since! It has great coverage, I have a approx 3,000sqft home and I have no dead spots. Great speed and I have not seen it drop connection once. Definitely worth the money. Fixed my "lost connection" errors and gives great throughput speed!

easy hookup and had no problems setting up. the strength of the signal is much better than my previous.

A good replacement for my old router but after a couple years, it’s starting to act up that I have to reset it all the time. It might be time to use my warranty and take it back.

My internet provider was supposed to be delivering 100mb of service...I got the 100mb in my computer room but just 35 mb in my living room less than 20 feet away. Taking my Geek Squad's advice I installed a NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6 AC320...WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Now I get 100MB in the living room and even 100mb in my bedroom which is another 25 feet away! Got my monies worth... I could not be happier! GEEK ON DUDES!!

This router was a huge upgrade from my Comcast router and the sale was too good to pass up!
