Did not meet expectation

I was exicted to dicontinue using fios router (G1100) in the hope for better router. I own G1100 so no monthly fee anyway. Pros: 1. The set up was easy with nighthawk app or using the laptop. 2. Easy option to turn off internet to specific device was great 3. 5g signal was strong and great Cons 1. When opening the app, it displayed password for my wifi signal. That is big security NO NO 2. To pay for armour security subscription not worth it 3. Family manage (circle) without subscription also is waste 4. 2.4g signal was very poor compared to 2.4g signal from Fios G1100 5. 5g signal was strong but did not see any significant improvement over G1100 6. Wired Ethernet connections was slower than G1100 wired connections I tired resetting router hoping to get better performance. Finally, sadly I returned to BB

full-featured and great value

It has multiple wifi bands and guest networks. The app makes it very easy to change settings if needed, instead of logging into the router from a PC. It has great features like letting the router determine the best band for a given device to use.
