since i bought the nighthawk tri- band router it has solved all my wifi issues in my home, living in a large home with multiple devices that connect to the internet via wifi all devices receive consistent fast internet with barely any lag or buffering although its is a little expensive with a $299 price tag it is worth every penny especially if your a online gamer

Good product, but a little expensive. Purchased it to make my internet faster, but instead it strengthens the signal.

A good replacement for my old router but after a couple years, it’s starting to act up that I have to reset it all the time. It might be time to use my warranty and take it back.

It seems these days that you need to replace your router every 3 years, which I do fine frustrating. Either websites are getting more and more data hungry, or the updates we do to our routers, slow them down, just like cell phones. Anyway, this router is huge, but not just its size. The coverage I now have with this bad boy is fantastic! I have a 2 story 2400 square foot home, no issues anywhere, even in my garage which has never been great. So far I have no complaints about the way it performs. My only issue is it's not very user friendly to set up. The included instructions I found some what misleading. It also wouldn't except the passwords that I've used on previous routers of the same make! I had to make up new ones, which it was happy with, and then change them back to my old ones. Very odd, but was able to get there in the end. I do like the ability to turn off all of the LED indicators, making the router much darker at night.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance: It does exactly what I needed from this device. Really easy to setup, just follow the provided instructions and you will be fine. Final installation is connected to your internet, so make sure you have an internet ready. I strongly recommend you download the NetGenie app for your phone. It gives you extra tools for controlling your router usage and parental controls for internet content. I did a stress test to the router which consisted of: 2 gaming consoles connected through a wired and streaming Netflix; 2 smart phones on Wi-Fi streaming videos and one TV on Wi-Fi streaming Netflix. EVERYTHING worked perfectly. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door and helped me to contact the correct employee at the right area for getting my product, which I did quickly.

this was easy to set up.connected right up to my spectrum modem with no problem.put the password into my devices and had no problems at all for them to connect.it has great ranges get service about 200 yards away before it fades.in my 1100 sq.ft.double i always have full strength.i also use 2 echo dots,iring doorbell,2 iPads,2 iPhones,and 1 philips hue with 2 led bulbs, and all runs without any lag or problems.

This was easy to set-up. It has worked well and increased my households online ability significantly.

Internet speed increased dramatically. I got a chance to connect all my devices myself. Easy to install.

We have a larger home, and coverage was an issue. The Nighthawk A6 is able to cover the majority of our house. Much better device than the previous router I owned. The setup was easy. I haven't configured the additional bands to take advantage of all the features of this Nighthawk.

The router looks awesome. What is even better is that it performs better than any other router I have ever owned. I guess if there is a negative about it (and this is with any router) is that my child was able to re-set it and take over admin rights so I couldn't curtail his internet usage. Again, you can do this with any router so do not let that discourage you from purchasing this awesome, powerful router.

Great range and speed. Highly recommended. Works great for gaming.

I've had this unit for over 1 year now, and it has been by far the best router that money could buy last year. Excellent range, and has been able to handle over 25 phones/tablets/PCs connected at the same time (during two different fantasy football draft parties), and not a single disconnect nor dropped signals. I don't have a single complaint, the X6 has been a beast... I recently upgraded to the new Asus RT-AC5300, and it would be unfair to compare units due to the fact that the Asus is over $100 more, and the Asus is by far the best router in the market right now, but I can bet my hard earn money, that my old Netgear X6, was by far the best router for the $250-$300 price range butgets, no doub about it... The Netgear X6 met and exceeded all my expectations!

This wireless router was easy to set up and has a great range.

Excellent wireless network router that is extremely fast, easy to setup, and has a very good extended range. This was a great upgrade from the N600! I like the three bands so different devices can be split up. It seems to handle the 12 online devices our family has on the network.

I bought this router because I have two homes which are close to each other, but aren't real close (probably within a couple of hundred feet away). I was hoping to bridge to the router if necessary. Much to my surprise, I have a signal between both houses with no noticeable signal degradation. Obviously your mileage will vary. Setup was a breeze. Downloaded the application and everything just pretty much worked with no futzing. It downloaded new firmware and walked me through that process. Reconfigured the router to use the same username and password for connecting so everything just connected cleanly. The only real complaint is that it is an expensive router... But you get what you pay for. No complaints whatsoever...

I bought this router at the recommendation of a Best Buy associate. My router was very slow and not handling all of my wireless connections, especially my Slingbox. Once installed this new router solved all of my problems of speed, reliability, and range. I'd highly recommend.
