    I could not get my ASUS AC3200 to keep my honeywell thermostat and genie garage door monitor to stay connected. After installing the netgear, it has maintained effortlessly. The ASUS did a better job in identifying what was connected, but I managed around the Netgear issues by using their app and updating names.

    In our home there are walls that anywhere we place the unit it seems to block one side or the other of the home. We have moved it around, but it seems to be the same everywhere. We may have to purchase another unit to get full power to all computers.

    onenof the reasons i bought this router was for the parental controls. the ability to turn childrens access to internet on and off whenni wanted to, without turning my acess off and on. it works if you do it manually, but the third party app that comes with it is less than perfect.
