This router is the best I ever bought as an IT guy.

I purchased this unit because a friend has the same one and got whole house coverage with his. Found out it is great if connected on top floor and sends signal down to other parts of house. Not so good if connected in the basement and can't push signal up to third floor . Exchanged for different protocol unit.

This router is faster than fast with its 1ghz processor and its 802.11ac WiFi technology. With the use of its Tri-Band WiFi technology, it steams data very quickly. The parental controls are great which helps limits access to the net at various times of the day. I really like the design and the layout of it's six antennas .

I bought this nighthawk router ...its been working just fine since then . No problems..

this had cost 3 times more and was no faster or better in anyway from the vizo I already had

Walking into Best Buy, I wasn't sure what I needed or what I was looking at. A sales person was very nice, and helped me find the best router and price for my home. If it wasn't for their experience and patience, I wouldn't of made a good purchase and Router. Thank you Best Buy!

Easy setup, great item, love the 3 band !!!!!!!!!!!

This solved our problems - It is good to not have to deal with the issues we used to have.The old router kept bogging down and losing connection . This takes care of multiple computers and TVs and other things . Glad we got it !

Improved from my Apple Time Capsule and very fast!

Netgear must be paying people to review their product. On Amazon you can't even review this product because they flagged it for suspicious reviews. This router is absolute trash. If you have a decent amount of wireless devices (and we are probably on the extreme end), it will become frequently overwhelmed. My old Amplifi HD mesh router worked much better. I ended up using this router as just a router (disabling WiFi) and putting my old Amplifi in bridge mode to run wireless. That is the only way I could keep this thing from locking up. Netgear has always been trash, the positive reviews on this product and the looks of it intrigued me. I wish I would have returned it.

For the price you pay, Netgear should have included MIMO. I made the mistake of not understanding what MIMO was before I bought this. Other routers in same price range have MIMO. Also, Asus has a setting that you can auto reboot the router at a time / day of your choosing. This router needs that as well.

The 5 GHZ band is great but any devices that run on 2.4 do not have a good time running.

The nighthawk router may be the first product I've bought that truly has improved our internet experience. Gaming and streaming shows and television is seamless even over wifi at the back of our apartment. Really nice features allowing admin to control and monitor wifi usage.

I don’t recommend it if you have multiple devices because will start breaking up signal or authorization on each one , long range but it doesn’t work how it says .

Had issues with our wifi. Three gamers and poor wifi does not a happy family make. Tried fixing through the cable company but never got the speeds we were looking for. Upgraded to the Nighthawk and the sound of griping about lag has changed to the resounding cheers of "mine! mine! go! go! go!"

I bought these hoping these were the last ones I would have to waste money on, so far I like these a lot plus, they are waterproof! The case even came fully charged, and I still haven’t charged it yet and have had it for almost 10 days!!

Replaced and older wireless router that had many devices connected to it. Prior to the replacement, wireless connection was at about 4mb download. with the new router ever device gets a stable 30mb even though most devices pull a lot of data constantly. Looks cool too, Like a spider on a wall. LOL

Seems to work really well. Would purchase it again

This router is very good, however I did need to purchase an extender for my home to increase the signal outside by the pool area and in some weak areas. However, I cannot place this router in the center of my home either...so that could be the reason why. I just thought this would have a larger range for the price.
