It works really great even outside. And was very easy to hook up, it almost did everything for me(which is good because I had to do this with no help from wife). But Netgear has always been a dependable product for me with various things over the years and highly recommended by the best buy rep.

Purchased this router for my home network. Use this for both wireless and wired connections throughout my house. Only had one issue with firmware update and connectivity before that with apple products. Now it is working properly after firmware update

Bought mainly for streaming DTV movies and keeps up pretty good with the download my old different brand router did a better job but the only other choice was to spend much more money. Overall This is a pretty good router and Wi-Fi coverage throughout the house is good as well.

Love the features of this device. Love the visual feedback of the lights telling you at a Glace things are fine or their are problems. Interface is great and lots of flexibility to safeguard the network, or allow for pass though. Previously a Systems Administrator so I know my way around networking.

We had a huge problem in our 2 level plus basement home, as we were unable to consistently pick up Wi-Fi, although we relocated our modem to the center part of the house. Even thru wood floors and tile, this unit completely solved our problem and although a little pricey, it was worth the longer term investment.

With the addition of a Sony 4K HDR TV, along with two gamers in the house, I felt the need to beef up our wireless speed. This worked great. Previous to this, I had a Netgear N900 Wireless Router, and I never had any problems that. The wireless speed is amazing.

Great range and options, quick to setup out of the box.

I've tried many routers before and none gave me the rage that I'm getting now. Here in Brazil the houses have much steel and concrete on their structure. This affects pretty much the range of the router but the Nighthawk is doing its job and now I'm able to use the internet throughout the house.

This router was the only one which proven compatible with all my 90 peripheral devices for my business. It readily detected each device and proved compatible with the Amped range extender as well.

I was looking for a WiFi router that could handle several devices all at once without slowing anything down and this has worked perfectly. The bonus of the Disney circle app to track and control what content each device can access is super awesome.

This router is heads and shoulders above the one it replaced (2006 vintage). We get decent coverage in a 2200 sq/ft home, although any concrete wreaks havoc with the signal (one room in our basement, for whatever reason, is surrounded by concrete walls on three sides, and we get very poor reception in there).

SET UP PER INSTRUCTIONS. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS COMCAST, THE ROUTER, OR MY COMPUTER BUT I COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. ABOUT 20-30 MINS AFTER MY INITIAL SET UP I FINALLY CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. NO PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTIONS AFTER THAT. 4 LAPTOPS, 2 TABLETS, AND 6 CELL PHONES.

I wasn't too sure about the improvement this would make compared to the belkin ac1200 I had been running for a few years. After connecting, which was quite easy, I was surprised to see that my stream rate had tripled. Coupled with a new netgear wifi adapter, I'm gaming with no issues now!

Asked for strong coverage throughout a two-story, 4600' house and was advised that this nighthawk would do it. Almost, but not quite. Placed it in the middle of the first floor, and great signal strength except on the outer edges of the second floor.

For the money not worth it. Didn't make that big a difference over my cheaper one

It works finally after returning two others. Also the others would not work, but when I called customer service, they told me that I had to download the nighthawk app and buy their service for it to work.

Way overpriced.... Too many functions for a beginner

I used to have Linksey and Asus routers before. Really disappointed with the wifi results. Asus is the worse one.After two months stop working then I gave a shot to Netgear. It's working great and it works great all the floors even in the basement. I am really happy with this product.

I bought this when I moved into a new place with my roommates, 6 people with over 15 devices connected. Never once had any problems with it. Great for gaming with multiple people online or LAN. Overall very worth the price
