If you have multiple WiFi devices, or a long run in your home, highly Reccomend Cons: tech support only 90 days after purchase and is expensive for assistance, also difficult to add wireless cameras. I would still buy it again.

It has three bands of wifi so you can split all your items up so they are not on only one band. I have laptops, canary security systems, Alexa, Wemo's, printers, Direct TV all on wifi, so everything is running smoother now with this router.

I, like others before me, am posting this negative review after less than 2 years of owning this product. I am really disappointed with the quality of connectivity with this device. I've reset it numerous times, only for it to continue having laggy, slow, spotty internet reception despite paying for the highest tier in internet available. I read the negative reviews before buying but I didn't listen. I should have.

Very easy setup, plugged it in, answered a few questions, and I had a network! The Nighthawk works well and the built in security has been notifying me when there is a possible intruder!

Not that easy to setup, but the netgear support helped to get the wifi working correctly! You Have 90 days to get technical support for no extra charge, afterwards you have to pay for it.

For the most part runs smoothly without need for intervention. Occasionally requires a reboot, but can often be done with the accompanying app. Range isn't quite what I had hoped for with a nighthawk, but still reasonable in a large home.

I have many devices on my network and was having wifi dropout with cable company router. Now I don't have that anymore. Issues with USB 3.0 port on latest firmware. Readycloud not working properly

I don't quite get the full square footage advertised, had to add an extender, but the speeds are very strong particularly when there aren't a lot of devices being used at the same time.

I was surprised to see how quickly the signal strength / download speed goes down as I walked away from the Router into the next room. I like that it has a USB port to possibly hook up a network hard drive if I choose.

I had high hopes for this product, don't know how to rate it since it won't work with Frontier Internet. Frontier won't provide support--expect you to use their substandard "free" product or pay $20 month

My old router was ten years old and it was time to get a new one. The last router was also a Netgear and it served me well for a long time. This is why I bought another Netgear.

I am not very computer literate and could not set this up by my self I made an appointment with the Geek Squad to come in and set it up They were awesome as is the router. No dead spots anywhere outside or inside the house. Super fast

If you're looking for speed this will do however if you have a family and are looking for more control of individual users then I would look elsewhere. This product could use an upgrade in that area.

Its a step up from my current router and gives me 3 times the speed but still not the full speed which is supplied by the provider. Direct connection to modem gives me 200mbps and wifi gives me 150mbps

We had been suffering from old WiFi Router-itis! You know how it goes - everyone’s device slows down as time goes bye. This router took care of that! The whole family is WiFi’ing with a smile and the family IT guy is happy!!

Very good router for the price. Easy to setup and it has many different options and features. Being able to control it from my mobile apps is an awesome bonus. Much better upgrade from my Linksys and for the same price.

I replaced my crusty museum quality router with this alien-bashing atomic-crunching Netgear Nighthawk. Of course, in 24 months or so it'll be lame, but for now I'm rockin'.

But it isn't as omni directional as I think it should be.

I was expecting more speed but my WiFi still reads weak, when I purchased it I was told that it would more speed and strength than I need, it did not but it still works, I lost my receipt so I’m can’t return it
