A sudden storm blew out our old Wi-Fi, so we had to purchase a newer version of Netgear and am glad we did. We live in a remote area, yet it works without even thinking about it, giving us seamless Wi-Fi through our home. Love it.

The product is great, however one of my computers will not connect to Internet. The package states that it is compatible with XP, however it is not. Now I have to either upgrade the old computer or buy an adaptor for this desktop More money!!!

We were having problems with too little Wi-Fi available in parts of our home. The Netgear was installed by Josh Smith of the Geek squad. He did a very good job of helping us select the right router and fitting it to our needs.

For the cost, it,s not good as a low cost product!

The router we had before came with the "channels," or bands, this comes with 3, and you can certainly tell the difference. If you have everything in your home hooked up to wifi all the time this is the router for you.

The Nighthawk Router provides excellent WiFi coverage for my 2 story home. It has been especially helpful when working from home and we have 3 or 4 people using the internet.

The reception range is terrible. I have the modem placed 11 feet from the security system that used to be fully operational (4) Cameras. (WIFI) I'm luck to get two. The old Verizon modem was in my concrete basement probably 40' from my security base and would pick up my 4th security camera which is about 110-130' away in a direct line. in fact I would like my money back. I cannot drive as I just has Achilles tendon surgery so, I am looking for another option. The only reason I switched is Time Warner just became available on my road and their internet is so much faster than Verizon DSL. Your salesperson told me this modem would do anything and everthing and more. I blew close to $280 on this thing

I had a older router that was not taken advantage of my wi-fi blast! So I had done some research and discovered that was likely the problem with so many devices that I had also.

I was having so many dropped wi-fi connections and the speed was so slow it was time to buy a serious router and the salesman at Best Buy recommended this one. It was more then I planning to spend but it's been well worth it.

Not as fast as I thought it would be. Could be my internet though. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of range when trying to connect TVs but works great with the gaming systems and cameras and mobile devices.

I replaced one that couldn't handle the load of my wife watching streaming videos and me on my computer at the same time. The Netgear tri-band handles the job with ease. No more glitches or pauses. The price was right.

We're very satisfied. Using the genii, it was almost a "turn key" installation process. It took less than an hour to connect and register the router, complete the updates, set the security, and then personalize the settings.

With me and my husband working from home, this has been great! We get WiFi in every part of our house. He is on one side and I’m on the other. Our house is approx 2,500 sqft.

This router really made an improvement with the WIFI in my house. My main problem with the router is that it is very hard for me to understand how to set it up to work to its best ability. Over all, its a really good working piece of equipment.

This product is super great since it has multiple wifi channels which is great since I have soo many devices that uses wifi

NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router - Black Netgear is best. I compared it with another brand routers, this wifi is strongest.

I used to have the WORST wifi coverage in my house and this router completely changed that. I dont have a single bad thing to say about this product, its worth the money.

This router improved the Wifi range throughout our 3k sq foot house dramatically. It also provides some security benefits that were a nice surprise. Could not be happier with it

I purchased this for my new internet service. The Installers were very impressed by this "awesome" router. They said it was the best of the best so I guess I can give this a 5 star rating!!

Before making an expensive purchase on a product meant to be used extensively I always read customer reviews. I start with the one star then work up. What I noticed were two negatives which stood out: 1.) Purchasers kept losing network connections and had to do a hard reset. 2.) Purchasers said configuration was difficult. While we have only had this router for two weeks we have not had to do a reset as of yet. Also, configuration was somewhat a breeze. If you let the router do its work and are patient it will get you online handily. It does take time to configure itself and one may be thinking "it's not working"; yet let it go and it will do its "configuration thing". As for the pluses we see in our household (which includes a home-based business, two desktop computers, two wireless printers, four tablets, four smart phones, three laptops, a smart TV, a smart thermostat) the Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200, which replaced our Netgear R6300 (a good router as well), added noticeable speed and especially range from the router by quite a bit. My son is an avid streamer and does not see his Internet speed slowed down at all which is critical while streaming, slowdowns did sometimes happen with the 6300. While I do feel the router is a bit pricey at over $300 with tax, so far I have not heard, "the Internet disconnected" or "the Internet is really slow". Not having to hear that, at least so far, is peace of mind to me. One thing you must do upon purchasing is upgrade the firmware to the newest version! I believe many of the bad reviews are using older firmware. If we start to have issues I will stay up to date and amend this review, yet so far so good. If you just use the default settings you should not be sorry
