Purchased this with the intention to boost my wifi speeds at home, however in my environment with many electrical devices there appeared to be a lot of interference.

I like this router but every so often I have to reboot it because it seems to lock up. It’s a bit annoying but not enough to make me go and return it. Happens maybe every couple of months.

I liked this router but I did run into some issues early on which were a pain. If you can setup smoothly then its fine. I had to factory reset it a couple times for the wifi to stay consistent.

This Netgear router with multiple channels is great when you have several TVs, computers, and smart phones connecting to the same WIFI. I still had to add a signal booster, but it is worth the money!!!

Been running for a couple weeks. Seems to be ok. iPhone application moves slow. Set up is slow because of that. Otherwise I am happy with the router as a whole.

Love the router, but I'm not crazy about the netgear "Genie" software. My old NetGear router had amazingly simple and super customizable set-up. Overall I would recommend if you can get a good deal.

After trying several different routers, I decided to pay a little more for a stronger router. Bought this Net Gear and I finally got sufficient wifi in my home. I guess you get what you pay for!

definitely an upgrade to my built-in AT&T fiber combo modem/router. weird signal issues prevent it from reaching one certain room, though

I bought this router to expand the wifi signal throughout my 1500sqft condo and had no luck. The five year Netgear model I had works better than this so I just switched back and I'll deal with the service I have now. It's definitely not my ISP but it may be my actual condo or setup. It still doesn't explain how an older model with way less wifi reach was able to maintain better signal strengths. The other issues people mentioned regarding this product stand true. Signal drops and internet just goes out. I set this up correctly and followed all the instructions, definitely not on my end.

This is a great router. It connected to my AT&T modem without any connection issues like similar routers I have tried. I recommend spending the extra dollars for this router.

We tried the Google Wi-Fi but it would not reach every level in the house like suggested. Decided to return that and update the router. Works better than we could have hoped for.

Percent for what I needed! Love the fact that I can have to kids and their WiFi toys on a separate channel than what I use for gaming and my pc. Purchased on sale so definitely worth the money!

I bought this router to replace my R6250 and have daily been regretting this purchase. Most times it works as it should although at odd times it will simply drop all connections of one type or another, either Internet or Intranet. I have also found no speed increase, especially not enough to justify the much higher price over some of the other models. As this device is twice the price of the R6250 and offers no additional benefits especially lacking any speed gains, I cannot recommend this product.

Had purchased a Linksys Smart Wifi initially. After 2 weeks it would no longer transmit a continuous wifi signal. Returned that unit and the store rep suggested this one. So far, so good.

I live on an acreage and wanted a wifi that could go out away from the house this one lets me get out side where I can enjoy and use the internet rather than needing to be close to the router inside

I purchased this router after my previous Belkin started slowing down and randomly disconnecting my devices. The netgear hasn't had these problems to date and I've been very satisfied with my purchase.

I've used many Netgear routers through the years. This is definitely the fastest one I've had. Works great with multiple streaming devices that connect on 5G. Automatically balances them.
