Wait. Unless you absolutely need this now, wait. As of December 2014 there are still irratating nits that cause erroneous network issues. We got a new firmware patch a few days ago that fixed most of them but there is still a random 1000ms lag spike when you need to fetch DNS records that aren't used frequently. Overall, I'm happy enough not to return the device but it's difficult to say this is better than the R6800 it replaced.

I enjoy my new radio. The installer did a good job, and made the time convenient. I am satisfied with everything. Sales did a nice job answering my questions and getting the cables and antenna lined up. Thank You!!!

Me and my dad love playing video games we have three PlayStation's and my mom likes watching Netflix we are able to do all of it without fail very good for multi family gaming or watching movies or using computers

This router is head and shoulders above the 5 year old netgear it replaced. The software is easy to use and set up. I am getting near full output throughout a 2700 square foot home pulse the basement and patio.

I bought the best net gear I saw and did not make a mistake. I have great WiFi that reaches all the way to my car in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I love the net gear app.

After reading allot of the quick start guide, it took a while to get it going and although I'm happy with it and the strength is fantastic I am not sure I am even utilizing it properly or all the options.

It has great download and upload speed. No lag time on streaming movies. The signal does not penetrate through the wall as strong as my old one did. The speed makes up for it.

So far the router is running well. I upgraded from a R7000 nighthawk that was failing after many years. Looking forward to many years of using this router.

It was a great buy! I use to have issues with my internet. Since I installed the Nighthawk X6, I have had zero issues. Pricey but worth it!

Easy setup. Have a split entry five bedroom house. This unit reaches all computers and 3 xboxes located upstairs and downstairs. Full bars now was only getting 1 or 2 with the old Linksys.

The Nighthawk X6 is a beast. My wifi is now working in three stories of my house. I have my kids set up on one channel, while my wife and I are on another. This router is well worth the money.

I upgraded as movie streaming was getting choppy especially with dts. With 3 computers, 2 tablets and 2 phones in the mix. I like how the router assigns priority to different devices.

This is a great Tri-Band Router. I use the first channel for my kids devices and the 2nd channel to stream 4k movies on my Samsung Smart TV and Channel 3 for my Smart Home Devices... video cameras etc..

Our printer and occasionally our laptops used to disconnect from the WIFi. Now they never due. It's as if this little space ship looking router is constantly flying invisibly around the house.

This is the second one I’ve owned, the first wiped out by lightning or surge. Keep in on a protector and you should be happy.

The Nighthawk exceeded my expectations. The 3 "highways" of internet use keeps my kids on their own channels and the wife and I have our own with no interruptions like before. Great purchase.

From the first day I installed this router i noticed how fast my devices run. No more crashing apps or waiting for pages to load or freeze. Very recomended

I'm told this is a Cadillac router. But its configuration was off a bit according to the Geek Squad guy I felt compelled to pay for. It took him a while to restore systems to working order.

Excellent wifi. Just got the new modem for the cable ISP and a new laptop. Now I have one wifi 5ghz signal just for laptop while all other wifi devices use the regular band width.
