    I bought this router, had it for one week, and then returned it. I was optimistic it would work well as we had an older Nighthawk model for 4 years and it was great. Got this one up and running and it initially seemed nice, but after breaking it in for a few days I started to notice a few things: 1) Some devices, like mobile phones could see the network but not actually connect. 2) Devices would get booted off after being connected for 10 minutes 3) Range of the router was less than the 4 year older model even though positioning was exactly the same After doing some research on help forums on Netgear's site, these were all commonly reported problems. As such, I didn't even bother calling Netgear's tech support. Went ahead and returned it and opted for the Nest Wifi, which has been flawless so far.

    IM NOT A FAN OF THIS, SOMEONE RECOMMENDED IT, BUT I DONT SEE HOW IT REALLY WORKS OR HELPS, I JUST HAVENT FOUND TIME TO RETURN IT, I DONT THINK ITS MAKING ANY DIFF WITH MY WIFI TO BE HONEST, KIND OF A WASTE OF MONEY

    Installed easily and worked for about 12 hours. Then it started going on and off line and nothing I tried, including calling Netgear tech support. Maybe just a bad unit as I installed another Netgear router with the results I have come to expect from Netgear products.
