Difficult to set and even tougher to sync all devices

We purchased this product to improve our internet reception in the tree area of the home. It is giving us essentially the same signal strength as we had before the purchase. We plan to speak with the sales person who sold it to us to hopefully resolve the issue.

This router is junk. Speed on both wireless and Ethernet ports are slower then what I measure at the cable modem itself. Netgear app is buggy as well.

Noticed my old router couldn't keep up with my lifestyle any longer!!! I had a Linksys EA6900 for 2yrs...very good/reliable router..Highly suggest if on a budget or not looking to spend $$$$$$ I did come across a problem,but it was NOT the fault of the Nighthawk(NetGear)...Took me a day and half to figure it out..After installing the equipment,modem and router running...You have to open the browser and go to a specific link..Well,i couldn't get to the page...And you NEED this particular page to make changes to the router,etc....I called NetGear tech support line and with speaking with the tech,he directly asked me if i used KASPERSKY ANTI VIRUS....I said yes i do..And he made this noise like..OOHHH BOY...that's my problem,the anti virus i was using..So what i did...Paid for different antivirus(norton) and removed Kaspersky totally...With the new anti virus,was able to get to the page NO PROBLEM!!!! So that's my Warning...have that antivirus....go buy linksys...wont have any problems...Otherwise..The NetGear Nighthawk has GREAT performance,Fast,easy to use..GREAT RANGE!!!! If you have the $$$ do it..You will be covered twice as long with the technology in the Nighthawk...Wont regret it!!!!!

Im not sure if there is an issue with this particular device i purchased or its a model issue. I purchased this router to boost my internet speed but its a little bit faster now and not close to the internet speed limit i should have.

My husband is very capable of handling our household electronics but absolutely could not figure out the set up for this router. We had to call an IT friend to get it set up. Then it worked okay for a few weeks before it completely stopped. Needless to say, we returned it.

I speak English and bought this in the usa... But when I called to ask for help setting this up... The lady was extremely difficult to understand kept me on the phone for over an hour then had nerve to ask me to Stratton trouble shooting with her! I hung up and just returned it and bought the linksys one!

Returned after one day of use. This did not help my speed at all it actually slowed it down. I was happy to pay the price but I am not a technical person which is what may be needed to work this.

Was using this router for a couple of months. Since the moment i got it, there were internet disconnections every day. Internet was dropped few times a day and in many cases the only way to get it back was to reboot the router. Latest firmware, etc - nothing helped.

This unit the guy in the store told me it was 3 times faster than my unit I had from cable vision and that’s not the case , it Boggs down with only 3-4 devices Do not purchase!

MTBF TERRIBLE <30days for first one. Replace the DOA!!!!

Hard to set up Did not do all that it was suppose to do

Not good for more than a few devices. Constant need for resetting and new setup. Kicking devices on and off WiFi at random… not reliable!

So disappointed. Intermittent internet connection.

After about 2 weeks of working ok it is now completely un-usable on the 2.4 ghz band. I shouldn’t have taken the associate in the store talk me into this router. I have tried every single old firmware available online and nothing seems to do the trick.

Stopped working after 2 weeks, just would not power on

Speeds would really slow down frequently. Has to restart to get the spores back up. After 10 months lights started turning orange. After 3 resets I gave up on this product.

Would only work for a few weeks before having to be reset. I replaced it twice with a newer version. I work in IT, so it wasn't a configuration issue, more of a hardware issue.
