    Need better coverage in Living room and was assured by sales clerk that this would give me great coverage. Not so, still have to hold ipad up in the air to get anything to down load then sitting in living room. Not that far away but three walls must block it

    I have to reset this thing almost daily, and the first day I had it, it bricked itself and I had to restore it by using a terminal client and direct connection to my laptop. Avoid this. Returning it.

    Support is not great unless you purchase extended help desk support I have had my router for 6 months and It drops all my light switch I use for home automation randomly. Not happy with this router.

    After the fifth consecutive failure in setup process.... I gave up. The easier they make it the harder it is to setup. I will try to setup it up again when I need a good headache!!

    Convinced by a Best Buy representative and his supervisor that this router would easily cover our entire condo. False! It barely covers our living room and the adjacent bedroom. Could have gotten the same results with a $50 product.

    Nothing comes close to this beast I traded in my Netgear Nighthawk dual band for this bad boy and I'm glad I did. I'm not saying the Nighthawk dual band is a bad router it just couldn't keep up with our WIFI usage and needs so I upgraded, it has the same easy setup as the smaller Nighthawk but more power behind it. My family couldn't be any happier with this product and this will be the last router I'll ever buy.

    This router sucks I cannot get the remote access app working and Netgear support is a joke. I plan to return the router and get a linksys. This is what I had previously and the remote access app worked without a hitch.

    The Nighthawk doesn't do well with keeping passwords. Once i established the default password, it did not recognize my attached devices and I had to reboot multiple times. I returned the product for a Linksys 3200.

    Remote access does not work as claimed. Relies on proprietary cloud membership account which is not supported by Netgear. Unable to get support after repeated attempts. I am forced to return the product. What a pain.

    I hoped that this router would be an improvement over my Netgear N900, but the signal strength was not nearly as good and I had to return it. This is odd, because my old Netgear N900 is physically so much smaller.

    worked until the warranty ran out. just rent one from the cable company at least when that one breaks they will bring you a working one

    The router kept booting devices offline, wouldn’t accept the password printed on the device, and kept needing to be set up again. Super inconvenient and annoying.

    Can not down load anything since your guy installed it two week ago and could not any one to come back to correct the problem until monday. I was out of Wednesday to Friday but your person was not available until after that.

    Updated firmware today 07/28/21 now the dumb thing doesn’t work. Never buy night Hawk again

    Didn't work for me with Xfinity X1. I tried for several hours to get this to mesh with my equipment and never had any luck!

    This device has no range, won't work up one floor and forty feet from router location. Returned original unit, second unit shows no improvement, will probably return in next week.
