Had to return it, it was compatible with the twc modem

Replaced a Linksys wireless and a link sys wired router with this single device. We have several mobile devices that use Wifi so it's been nice to have multiple channels. This router was easy to set up, has been easy to manage and completely reliable. My old wireless used to drop off all the time, this one does not and it's fast! Very, very happy with this purchase.

Don't waist your money cheaper ones work much better.

I purchased this router to replace a 4th Gen Time Capsule. I was hoping to get better range and throughput. My desktop PC has an AC card, and I did notice a faster connection. However, I've run into numerous issues connecting with devices on the 2.4GHz band and will be returning the router. I use RDP to connect from my desktop PC to my work laptop (both on my home network). This allows me to use the 3 monitors that I have connected to my desktop with the laptop without having to switch cables around. The Netgear router frequently disconnects the session. When connected, I get significantly more lag than I did with the Time Capsule. This occurs regardless of whether my PC is connected to the 5GHz or 2.4GHz bands. I've also experienced issues streaming music and videos to my Apple TV which I didn't experience before.

Excellent Range I Installed it at a gym where they had over 20 devices connected to it performed great. Setup was very easy

This router has really made a difference in my network. Prior to getting this router, I could not get reliable reception on my Chromecast and could only stream one stream of blu-ray with my Netgear WNDR4500 I streamed 3 Blu-ray movies (~23 Mbps to 30 Mbps) from my harddrive at the same time and could not see any visible stuttering. My Chromecast works reliably in its current room and I have picked up roughly 50 ft in distance. If this router can perform like this for the long haul then I will be happy.

This morning I exchanged my crappy NEW Linksys AC3200 router for this Netgear. I had replaced my failiing Asus router about a month ago and went with the Linksys AC3200 because it was on sale even though I wanted to get this Netgear x6. Man I was wrong. That router brought nothing but headaches and my home is a smart home so if a router can't do it job correctly then of course everything in my house doesn't work correctly either! This morning I boxed up that crap router (luckily i'm a BestBuy Elite member) so I have 45 days to exchange items and this morning I picked up this Netgear router! Set-up is super easy and fast and once I got everything in my house reconnected all my devices respond super fast and the connections are solid. I love this router and I am glad that even though the last time I owned a Netgear router (5 years ago) that their products are still fast and reliable. This router is DEFINITELY the way to GO! GO NetGear!!

Would highly recommend never had any issues and app shows you when ever needs an update. Very easy to use setup was fast and easy

This is the first high end router that I have ever owned. It definitely does not disappoint. Our home is 3000 square feet and we now have perfect signal in every room. Prior to this router the signal was slow and sluggish. I also was able to connect our adjacent apartment to WiFi using this router. Expensive but worth every penny.

Set this up in less than 15 minutes. Connected 6 devices and the speed is excellent

I upgraded to this router and I absolutely love it. The wireless signal is awesome and the speed is terrific. I have a Plex Server attached to this router an have no lag when streaming to multiple wireless devices that are playing differant movies.

This thing is awesome. I upgraded from a previous year's best model. This thing is twice the modem that one ever was. I get 125meg wireless no matter where i am in my 2500sf house. the tri-band is great for keeping devices separated and reducing lag. The wireless distance is awesome. If money isnt the issue, and you want a product i would highly recommend this. Especially if you are a gamer.

This netgear has been great. I did not know that routers affected much but now I can play my video games online while my family streams series and surf the web.

The router is pricey, but worth the expense. Before upgrading my wireless dongle for my main PC I was regularly receiving around 22Mbps on a 2.4Ghz wireless N connection. After upgrading to this router my wifi speed jumped to 32Mbps on the same wifi dongle. After upgrading to a AC adapter the same PC now receives the full 150Mbps that I'm paying for through my ISP.

At 2.4GHz the device performance is 50%. But at 5.0GHz tri-band Wi-Fi the performance is optimum. The only issue is that many of the devices and computers in my network is not 5.0GHz compatible. This is my four months experience in my home environment with 20+ devices networked. Overall a very good high performing router.

My 9 year old Trendnet router finally bit the dust. I was looking to go high end and does this ever qualify. Fantastic connections, I can leave the two printers over on the old 2.4 and on the two 5's I can split up the tablets and PC's. Quite a bit more than I wanted to spend but well worth it in the end.

it is worth the 300 I even get signal down the road a little bit. I live in a area with lots of wireless interference and never lose signal if you have problems with wifi in your area get it. I have multi devices and game wireless with this. I get 55 megs down and I pay for 50 wireless

Setup was easy, the smartphone app helps a lot. Once it's set up, it covers a large area and is reliable and powerful.
