A must have if you have lots of devices to manage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup, especially if you already are experienced with other Netgear products. Has enough power to spare with great range to begin with. Great also if you want to use in conjunction with extender for a large home since it can use one of the two 5GHz signals for that task. Auto load balancing helps tremendously as well. Probably performs even better overall when compared to the more modern MU-MIMO routers since it has 3 radios.

Best router for the $$$
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a stronger, faster, and overall more powerful router. The Nighthawk caught my eye but I was unsure if I wanted to spend over $200 on a router. I stepped into the local Best Buy and asked for assistance to get the sales person's opinion on what would be the next best thing. I explained to him the reason I was looking for a new router was that my service provider provided a modem with a built in router which was fairly slow and sent a weak signal. He recommend I go with a whole home WiFi system but they were a bit pricey, I already did not want to spend over $200 and when I let him know that he told me the Nighthawks were on sale and one of the best routers available. I took his word for it and purchased it. I immediately came home and installed the router. The instructions were very simple and the setup was very easy. It basically took over my preexisting network so all of my devices contacted automatically to the Nighthawk. My home is a 2 story town home with approximately 1500sq feet. I would have issues receiving a signal in my living room due to the modem/router being located on the send floor in the master bedroom. With the Nighthawk I now have ZERO issues, longer/larger area of WiFi coverage, and to top it all off the speeds are basically identical to the speed if the device was attached directly via Ethernet. I 200% recommend this router to everyone!

The best of the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do you need a 300 dollar router? You know, probably not. But this is the best router out there. The range is almost ridiculous and I don't have any wireless collision issues anymore. Very easy to set up and to use. Do your research - most people can get by with cheaper routers that do less. But if you want it all, the Netgear is very good.

Super easy setup and highly reliable !!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many different routers all of them failing sooner or later and losing connection. Often some have been difficult to connect or maintain connection... Not this one ... It goes through your walls and doesn't even need to be centrally located .. Great signal super fast and multiple use at once. Great for students and professionals !!! I highly recommend this product and not wasting time with any other !!

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a beast. If you have a large area to cover and a lot of devices, you should get this router. It delivers the full sped of your connection on the 5 GHz bands. It's the best one I've had.

Good router upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nighthawk AC3200 was a much needed upgrade from my old Nighthawk AC 1900 router. I had added four more devices with old router and started to experience dead spot throughout the house. So purchasing this Trii-band router got rid off all dead spots. Router was easy to setup once getting customer support help for the link to site was down. I’ve had router for a couple of months with no problems.

Expensive but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our wireless router connection is on an outside wall, and we had trouble getting a signal on the opposite side of the house or upstairs, and with 5 people, all with iphones, ipads and laptops plus a smart tv running, sometimes all at once, we had trouble with devices staying connected. With this, we have guest access, plenty of bandwidth, and strong enough to get wifi in the neighbor's driveway across the street.

Excellent router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has great range and speed, and lots of bandwidth to handle multiple people in the house all using the internet at the same time. Setup is simple as well. Might be a little excessive though if you only have 2-3 streams going at a time.

Easy install, stays connected, good range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy install. Stays connected. Located in an utility room upstairs. Good range throughout 4300 sqft residence. Multiple Wi-Fi connections as well as several hard-line connections used in combination with a switch - all with no apparent reduction in performance. Have used for 2 months with no disconnects or issues.

Nice router for home.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the technician for out new wireless internet provider arrived to install the equipment, he saw this router I had purchased and said that it was so strong we could be put in the basement! I ended up setting it up on the main level and we have all been very happy with our ability to connect anywhere from within the house, and around the outside as well. It offers a guest password too.

Great WIFI Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this router up and running for over a month now without any issues. It's quite a bit faster than my old Netgear router I've had for a few years. Technology keeps moving forward! Over the recent holidays having several people over, all connecting to the Internet, used to slow it down quite a bit. No longer! A little pricey is my only negative, but you get what you pay for.

Does what it promises
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a home with more than 5000 sq. ft. under roof and we have excellent coverage all over the home. There is minimal bandwidth and speed loss, so what our internet provider is sending is what we get through the house. It also extends nicely to our property (we sit on about an acre of land on a lake, and we get network access at our boat dock). I am very satisfied with the product.

Powerful router, easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router when lightening strike to my neighbors house burned out my wifi-ac router dual band. I decided to go with the tribals rather than get another dual band and later wish I had upgraded. It is expensive, but powerful and easy to set up. In no time had it running with better range than I had before. So far no problems with dropped signals, and have great streaming.

Big upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a big upgrade from a 4year old Linksys that kept dropping WiFi connections. I live in a 3 story home and the WiFi range hits full bars in all rooms and outside. Very easy setup. Literally took 5 mins. Priority data options you can set is a great feature. Only negative feedback is it feels cheap in the hand, antennas feel fragile and its bigger than most models.

Fantastic Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy to purchase a replacement for my old router, which kept losing connection. I wanted an AC router. This one was one of the ones I researched. After standing in the isle for at least 15 minutes trying to decide which I wanted, I settled on the Netgear - Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router (R8000). I'm glad I did. It is fast and has no trouble with any of the devices. Video streaming on my ChromeCast and Roku 3 is smooth and clear. I'm glad I went with this one. I would recommend it to anyone upgrading.

Solved ALL our Wifi issues!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We was having issues with dead spots and not transmitting with our old set up (modem/wifi combined and a booster for the Wifi), and speed was always low. Hooked this up - very easy to do - and everything started right up and the speed is great all over the house using the wireless internet! Son plays Xbox through it, and said it has great speed! Very pleased!

Easy setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router to replace a router that wasn't covering certain parts of my house and was crashing due to the amount of wifi devices I have. This router is able to support all my devices and I now have full wifi signal throughout my house. Set was easy and fast and experienced no issues and since I kept the same network and password I didnt need to reset my devices.
