Excellent connection with great performance and reception.

The Nighthawks always perform well with easy setup. Will run multiple wifi devices and hard wired gaming consoles and pc's with no problems and open Nat type on all, no conflicts recognizing them.

The coverage and speeds this router povides are great. My previous router died, and after some deliberation I chose this one. Considerably better coverage speeds, and the three networks are very helpful.

I've had this router for about a month now and haven't had any issues. Runs a lot faster than my old one with no lag time on my devices. Haven't but the 3 bands to the test yet but a cool feature.

This is the fastest and most reliable router I’ve ever owned. I have had it for a year now and love it. If something were to happen to it I would get another one! Buy it worth every penny

This router is fast and all wifi devices are seeing the benefits with higher speeds. With my old router I saw very minimal speeds but with this router I see the full speed that I am supposed to get wireless. The PROBLEM that I was not aware of during set up that took 3 phone calls and 1 only chat was that Kaspersky does not allow set up for this router. I originally had to take mine back after several phone calls and the tech recommended returning it to Best Buy. When I got home with the 2nd one, same problem so I called again and found out that only devices WITHOUT Kaspersky installed can set up this router. So be warned that while this is a good router, if you have Kaspersky you will need a device without it's protection.

I bought this router to replace an Asus router which bricked after a couple of weeks (but within the return period thankfully). The Best Buy employee recommended this over a similar Linksys model. It set up easily and has had no problems. I like the tri band feature as we have over 20 devices connected.

I had an older nighthawk, which was great as well. it sent my wifi signal downstairs into the basement whereas other routers sent a very weak signal that was unusable for roku tv and ps4. But the old router finally died after 5 years... so I bough this one.. whew, blew the older nighthawk away. I only have 200 down/35 up Mbps service, and although i had that, my older nighthawk would only get about 50 download while in my basement. and 97 down while sitting right next to it. This router gets 200 - 218 download speeds while sitting right next to it, and 170 down in my basement. insane difference.. using the same exact internet provider package. keep in mind that even as i tested this, i have two kids on PS4 and all of our TVs are using roku streaming. Im sure if I had a better internet package I woudl utilize this to the max, but Im just comparing two routers so you see there is a significant difference, even when you don't have gigabyte service. One thing is definitely enable the "smart connect".. this actually sets all bands to the same sid name.. that way you connect everything to the same network and the the router itself will re-arrange devices onto whichever band is the most efficient for that device... which is great for many reasons... one being that you wont overcrowd a band and lag... Previously I would set my TVs upstairs on the 5G so that the kids coudl be on 2G and not interfere with my shows. but 5G doesnt reach so far, so there are those limits... now most of the time you enjoy 5G speeds and if it gets crowded, the router will switch for you. greatest feature.. also the mobile app itself is one of the greatest features. lol. I love the app. super simple and easy. you can rename connected devices and with a touch, disable them... for example... 4:30AM my son is playing PS4 and is VERY loud while Im trying to sleep.. every night i have to tell him to be quiet.. now I dont.. If he wakes me up, i press the button.. and off goes his game wifi... I onoy had to do it for a couple of days,,,, now he just keeps his voice down because he knows If he wakes me... then off it goes and i dont even have to get up out of bed. lol. mean but hey it works... so i love the router, the speeds, my netflix dont buffer anymore.. and yeah this thing looks like a sleek alien spaceship.. so i love it. lol
