This router replaced the R7000 and so far has performed perfectly. The signal is strong, it supports multiple devices without performance issues. There is on average 8 separate devices connected.

This is an excellent fast router with great Wi-Fi range. Set up is super easy for the novice, yet totally configurable for more advanced applications. I would recommend this router to anyone.

The router is an excellent value, and I've been very happy with the range and the coverage. It's worked very well with two people in the house using it, although neither of us does any gaming - we do streaming. The setup, however, was tricky. I'm pretty good at following setup prompts, but this went into a loop where I had to start over twice, and then I just jumped steps and got there anyway. Also - The related app seemed like overkill, as well. Once I finally got it set up, I have had zero problems with the operation, so I'm very happy with the router, just hope I don't ever have to reset it.

This is simply the best product that I have ever used. My wifi is 100% strong everywhere throughout my house including the basement, garage, and even outside in the back yard and in the front of the house. The connection is 100% secure and the speed is extremely fast. Highly recommended and the price is right.

Setup was easy. Router is fast and intuitive. Security seems pretty good. Not sure if I will pay for the Netgear Armour though.

Good router- overall good coverage of my house overall

I bought this because it was on sale at Best Buy, and because I needed a fast router. Also because all my network equipment is Netgear, and it is good to stick with a brand so everything works better together. We are paying for fast internet, and my old Netgear router was only passing through 30mbs. The cable tech came out and tested everything, and suggested a new fast router might clear up the problem. And yes it did! This new router passes through about 170mbs download! It was easy to set up, and I quickly had all my devices authorized. I love Netgear products, and this router is certainly a winner for me!

This is about as close to future proofing as you can get at the moment. A little pricey, but if you have a lot of tech running on wifi, it really allows for everything to run smoothly

We purchased this hoping that it would extend out use of wifi within our home, and it is faster, but did not improve the distance or "walls to go through" as much as we had hoped. Better, but not great. We still lose wifi calling in our laundry room and closet. So it is better, but not fantastic.

This is 3rd router i changed in my new house,and only this one could cover my whole house and handle all wireless devices that i have,very happy with it,it is expensive but worthed,

easy install, but it is "brightly lit", my family calls it "the alien on the wall". as far as performance, I put it in the middle of a 3000 Sq FT house and it does reach the garage and upper floors.

Very fast + easy as pie set up + reasonably priced = GREAT VALUE! The Best Buy associate guided me through the decision process and I am very happy with everything about this purchase!!

This router is awesome, we pay for high speed internet and the router handles it like a champ. Great signal around the house (3400 sqft.).

The Nighthawk series has always been great and this lives up to the name. My download speeds are so much faster and I have no lag while gaming from my gaming PC

I am very pleased with my Nighthawk. The speed is amazing was very simple to hook up everything. I have a home office plus all my media center running from it. Highly recommend it.

I was originally using the router provided by my ISP and charged a monthly fee. I was supposed to get 100D/100U but never got that and it would drop my connection at least once a day. I decided to get this and cancel that monthly rental fee. Oh wow, was I glad. Now on every band I get approx. 118D/118U which is more than I subscribed for. So happy with this. The app that ties it to your phone makes it very easy to access and do firmware updates as well as keep an eye as to who is on your network. Great router. Would recommend.

I'm using this for my business and it's working like a charm. It has great range and never faulters. The wizard is very easy to use.. overall very user friendly.

A great router for a larger home. Our home is 3600sq ft and has awesome signal strength with our 150mbps internet service. If you're looking a reliable triband router, look no further.

Drops connection once in while - good otherwise. Super super easy to set up many options for guests & many connections. We have many connections in our household. I like the manager desktop control center.
