Geek Squad advised not good for our network, recommend a mesh system.

I have fiber optic 1 gig internet I hooked every thing up read and watch videos concerning the product. After all I did and redid Remade all my car cables chocked the speed coming in my home still couldn't get more then 400 megabytes out of it don't matter what I did......

I returned it Does not work well even with cox service of 300/30 speeds

Garbage product! I cycled the power recently and it forgot its entire config. I had to reconfigure the router again. Also, it currently won't patch itself. It also does not explain why it is failing to update. Poorest Netgear product I've ever bought.

Probably the worst if not 2nd to the worst experience i had with mu-mimo. Troubleshooting is an absolute atrocious nightmare. Even the tech on the phone was confused. Even with load balance config, its going high upload, and im downloading, so bad product netgear.

Neatgear is not working as it suppose or for what I need

So this router is great but the major problem with this is that it will go to factory default if the router loses power for barely 1 minute or unplugged to move to another outlet. Netgear have no solution to this.

Can not access web services and their customer service was no help.

I purchased this item and had to return it because it would not work. I called the company and was told I needed to purchase their service in order for it to work.

Will not do business with Best Buy again. Their two week return policy and the internet customer service is ridiculous. The router stopped working after 3 weeks. Had to rely on the manufacturer warranty, which was hesitant to replace. Good bye best buy.

Netgear’s Nighthawk router product is difficult to set up and Netgear ‘s support staff is too interested in selling an extended support service warranty than helping you set up your new product. I returned it and continued using my old router.

Keeps discounting every 2 days when called Net gear they charged me $200 to fix and I still Have same problem

Range was not great in my house(maybe because its made of brick?) my power went out due to weather, when the router turned back on it erased all passwords so my wifi was available to everyone in the neighborhood. This happened multiple times.

We purchased the netgear router to extend the wifi through out the house and yard. When it's working, it's good, the problem is, it hardly ever works consistently. Wifi is constantly disconnected and sometimes unavailable. It cost to much to not work properly all the time.

This router would not work properly. I had to return it due to it only giving me 250 MB/S even though I have Gb speeds. I wasted 4 hours with Netgear support for no reason. I had to return it and buy a different one.

It works, but only for a few weeks, after that, all sorts of problems happens and nothing can be done. support really tries hard, but they can't handle it. Very frustrating experience

Do not waste your money or time on this router. Has many problems that interfere with signal causing constant failures. Spent way too much time on what was supposed to be a good router!! WASTE OF MONEY because NetGear won't refund me.

Tried to update several times and after it says “successfully complete” the router still says it needs to be updated. Read online that this is a common problem so beware.

Absolute garbage. They force you to purchase a subscription to use dlna features. Constant drops. Never works right with gaming consoles. Never again netgear!

Don't waste your money!! Took it back asap. I think aol dialup would have been faster than this thing. Got another brand, works much better.
