Purchased due to having issues with connectivity on old WiFi and wanted to have faster whole home WiFi. Worked great, easy to setup and speeds are a lot faster now

I am using this Router with a DOCSIS 3.1 Arris modem and replacing an older Nighthawk. I have not noticed a difference in speed 500 MBPS, but there a huge difference in stability! This new Router is much more stable, I have had the internet drop only once and that may have been a provider issue. The signal strength has also increased, I have a 3100 sq ft home and I get good coverage in all rooms! If you can get it on sale, I would pick it up for sure!

NETGEAR - Nighthawk X6S AC4000 is Fast... Solved all my Network/WiFi issues.. Very Strong Signals compared to my old 3 year old router

Haven’t had it very long, but it greatly improved my Wi-Fi speed. The signal strength and performance would probably improve even more if I had it located in a better spot. I think it was worth what I paid for it and hopefully will eventually get it moved to a better location and get improved performance out of it. I would recommend adding this to your system especially if you get your router or modem From your Internet service provider.

Works great with this router and my EX7500 mesh extender, my whole 3250 Sq Ft house has wireless basement and garage included

Our 4 year old ASUS router died and I picked this on up. Got it on sale and the speed & coverage area is extremely good. Highly recommended.

I was worried I was spending too much on this but what you get and how easy to set up is worth it. No doubt it handles all the streaming easily.

My Samsung mesh WiFi router died and Samsung service wasn’t going to send me a warranty replacement for 30 days. I cannot work and my family could not survive without internet that long so I ran out and bought this router. It was on sale and cheaper than any of the mesh WiFi systems, but I was also not happy with mesh WiFi performance. This router blows away the Samsung in every aspect except for one, no Z wave support. My house is over 4K square feet and I am averaging 150-350mb, the Samsung was 50-120mb.

It has good range and the speed is good. Not sure what else to say, it does what it's supposed to do.

This is pricey, however, it's a beast of a router. I was having problems with another Netgear router and upgraded to this one and boy am I happy. My house has a couple of IoT devices and this bad boy has been able to plow ahead without needing to be reset every other day. I have several wireless devices along with all four ports hooked up, and the ports then pigtail out to several switches and it hasn't blinked. You will pay for it, however, you will be happy.

Great range. Used in multi level home. Multible users no problem. Streams video through out the house. Even outside on deck! Set up was simple.

The Netgear Nighthawk X6S tri-band is a great router. It's easy to set up and works seamlessly with Xfinity cable modem (as it should). The Nighthawk app for your phone is terrific and is a good balance between providing information for a novice and information for more informed home network managers. The biggest complaint I have about this is that the Parental Controls portion continues to disappoint. This product uses the Disney Circle app as its parental control mechanism. While the Circle app has some promise, it's a poor implementation and doesn't seem to take advantage of the information that my Nighthawk router can provide it. Specifically, the device names (for devices on your network) that you can easily identify and edit in the Nighthawk app does not transfer over to the Circle app. When in the Circle app, your confronted with a list of devices that are referred to by their most generic names; i.e., "apple device", "android device", etc. In a family where members may have multiple apple or android devices like phones, tablets, etc., this generic naming is singularly unhelpful especially when you want to assign the device to a person and the impose parental (or any) controls. Maybe someday this will improve, but for now, I'm disappointed that Netgear has ceded its parental controls capability to Disney. There just seems to be something wrong about that...

It took very little time to setup. I was able to setup 5 different SSIDs! This comes in handy with running different businesses with different clients and guests. I usually have 21-28 network objects connected and this handles the load better than my previous Nighthawk AC1900. At these higher limits for connected devices, AX WiFi might be a consideration also, but know that that price tag will be well above this one.

This router is great. It replaced my apple router and was easy to set up. The coverage is great and the speed is great for streaming movies.

Absolutely the best router I have ever purchased. Easy to set up in my Internet is super fast.
