Replaced my Old router with this one and it is doing great for coverage throughout my whole house. Easy to set up.

this is a great router, east to setup. the tri-band router really shines if you have lots of wireless devices connection to it. you can put the kinds on one of the 5g bands and use the other 5g band for your self so you get the full channel bandwidth. the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that like most wifi routers the fastest connection speed is 768m/sec the xr-500 model supports 1766m/sec connections

I've always loved NetGear routers. Installed this one at my office and it's super fast and easy to setup. Highly recommend.

I bought the product at Bestbuy.com and went to the store to pick it up-1 hour later it was not ready for pick up- so I walked over to look at the product and it was cheaper at the store- so I took the product to the check out and told them it was cheaper at the store- he asked if I wanted to cancel the online order and take the one at the store- guess what I did- I took the $30.00 discount! I should not have had to wait and the store price should not be less than the online price!

My previous router just wasn't cutting it as we added more and more 'smart' things to it. Purchased this router and have not experienced the in & out issues that we had before. Our house is about 2600 sq ft and we have 3 Smart TVs, security cameras, etc., etc. and it has resolved the issues we have been experiencing. Visit a Best Buy store near you and talk with one of the knowledgeable, friendly Sales Associates about your personal needs and if they recommend this -- it is the one!

Setup was not difficult. I have a 1gbps plan and my mobile devices are speed testing around 400-ish mbps.

I like the way it works. As soon as we installed it ,my signal goes up and the speed was way up.

Easy set up from existing Netgear router. Great coverage and speed for my many WiFi devices. Would highly recommend this router.

I went to the store knowing what I was interested in buying. The sales associate kept pushing the sale of the Netgear router. I was in a toss up between the Netgear and an equivalent ASUS model. The associate still pushed the sale of the Netgear and to my surprise I ended up returning it. Based on my personal network requirements the Netgear was supposed to perform to what I needed and beyond. I ended up returning the router as it did not seem to perform any better than my older ASUS. I ended up returning the Netgear and picked up an ASUS router as it's more user friendly and even if your not a beginner user, the ASUS is much more friendly and SECURE! I've had an ASUS router for the past several years and I have NOT had any issues with any PC's in my home network. So my personal opinion, I like the Safety and Security and even the Performance of the ASUS router over the Netgear

Bought this as a replacement to the 5 or 6 year old gaming router I had. Easy set up for those that need that, great signal strength and signal distance. Minimal latency on WiFi and WiFi speeds are significantly better then my old router. Sleek form factor with that more modern look. Only "con" from my perspective is the multi directional antennas can't be fully rotated like my last router. That certainly doesn't effect it's capabilities though.

If you’re a gamer you’ll love the high speed it allows you to have as well. However, one thing that isn’t mentioned as much with this router is the ability to control the internet and the usage. The router comes with an app that allows you to assign the individual devices using internet to profiles for your family. Allowing you to set bed time limits (or grounding your children from internet) It has a lot more features but that stood out to me.

This device provides good whole house routing for our multiple uses. Fairly easy to put in service.
