Had to replace another Netgear wi-fi router due to instability...was able to copy off all settings and import into this new one. Had it up and operational within minutes of unboxing! Highly recommend if you're serious about great internal speeds and have a decent internet connection.....your vendor provided wi-fi router will NEVER attain the internal speed this family of routers will!

Came home from a trip to find my router had quit. I went as soon as possible to Best Buy to find out what I needed to get to replace the old one and maybe upgrade. With some assistance I walked out with Ntegear’s Nighthawl X65. Had a rough start with having to reboot regularly every three days but once I did the upgrade it has worked perfectly.

Works just like it said it would! Good reception! Has good range on it! It's easy to set up!

I have had many routers over the years. I have had many brands during that time. I must admit I am partial to the Linksys brand. After much research and consternation, I took the plunge on this unit. I have not been disappointed. This unit has exceptional throughput, coverage, and a very useful feature set. If you need a solution for a house full of streamers/surfers, this is the router for you!

Wow. I recently purchased an upgrade in internet speed, largely for work purposes. I wanted a fast router to go with that and one that can handle the many kid devices (ipads, iphones, laptops, TVs, security systems) that I have connected. I was blown away by the speed of this thing. Was getting 425Mb/s down/26Mb/s up out of the box. Really happy with this purchase. Hardwired my laptop and family printer and works seamlessly. Good security software.

This is an outstanding router! I have 26 wifi/smart devices connected to mine and have experienced zero lag issues. That’s 2 Firesticks and an Xbox 1 streaming at the same time! The setup was easy and the app is easy to use. Only downfall is the scheduling of time/use for specific devices as a means of parental control. You have to pay for that service where other routers throw that service in as standard.

Both coverage and speed are top notch. Easy setup as well.

With so many devices on our home network there would be streaming delays. Biggest issue was door cameras. They’d freeze and we’d never get real-time or quality video. This Nighthawk immediately fixed all those issues. Super easy to setup, lots of options to easily customize, and real-time info on devices connected, plus alerts if security risks. Very very pleased with this purchase.

Great speed, great range, worth the upgrade of you have an older router and looking for an upgrade.

Fast speeds, no connectivity issues and when gaming, I have no lag like I had with my comcast modem/router.

Not much of a difference to your normal cable router. I still have lag on my tv or when gaming but the speed has gone up a few not a lot. I don’t think it’s worth the price at which it was bought. Regardless it’s a little better than my standard router I got.
