I wa able to get Netgear setup and configured as soon as I got home. I did have to use my laptop for initial configuration though. I like the features it offers, the guest network and password setup was very easy. I also like that I can use the app to see the devices on my network without having to use the laptop. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Ok, love love this product! It easily set up to my existing Verizon Fios system, (I'm not a technical person) so if I can do it so can you. Love the IPhone app, I can see who's on, limit time, parential setup to limit or disable inappropriate website and content. And can limit internet usage. This is a must have for any parent, amazing product - ten star product!! Thank you

Great distance and coverage. Very strong signal. Easy to set up

We are a family of 5 virtual learning and working from home. 3 laptop, 2 PC, 5 tablets, 5 TVs, security system, ring doorbell, doorlocks even the fridge and the washer maching all running off of this router and it hasn't event blinked once. I had tried many others before non have come even close.

My new house is over 100 years old, and three levels. The walls are lath and plaster, and I guarantee there’s lead based paint under several other layers. I was concerned about one router being able to handle all that, but this one’s a champ! Perfect signal everywhere in the house, as well as the yard. Super impressed, Netgear!!

The speed difference coming from a cable modem with 4-port switch to adding this is like night and day. The signal reaches all over our 3 bedroom house, the garage and even the back yard. Happy to see I didn't need any Wi-Fi repeaters.

This replaced a nighthawk that stopped working which was disappointing because it was not that old. However out of the box it is a very easy set up and you can do it the old fashioned way or use their app and set it up from the phone. Overall it will give me more power than I need since the kids are out of the house but they do visit on occasion.

I bought this router to upgrade my existing Netgear AC1900. I setup the router the 1st day I bought it and immediately began having connection drop issues. All forums online indicate that the latest firmware has bugs and is causing the connection failure. I reset the router back to factory mode and re-installed the previous version of the firmware. Guess what, still had the same issues. For the cost of this device, I expected a "plug & play" system similar to my existing AC1900. I may still consider Netgear in the future but not until they clean the bugs out.

After 4 Xfinity Modem/routers that provided poor experience and very unstable internet service, I bought a modem and this router. With over 11 device s on at a time. I get stable internet everywhere in my house without issue and the promised 500mbs that I am paying for. Recommend this Router highly.

I replaced a prior similar router after it died. This one was very easy to setup and has worked flawlessly so far. I hope this one lives longer than prior wireless routers. Most of the previous ones have died after about a year. I purchased the extended warranty on this one.

This is an amazing router. Coming from a Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 R6700. It worked great for years. But my household has become a lot more smart over the years and we'll the router was being over worked. This router solve all of our issues. It can handle so much more that it's a future proof at this point.

The router performs well and other than the expected occasional restart has been great. So why only two stars? Upgrading the firmware. There are versions of the firmware that prevent the system from ever updating again. Version 1.4.1.5x causes the issue. Based on what is available on Netgear's site, if this is caught and one is bullied into their extend warranty, they'll replace the unit. What this means is that should the router have a significant security hole, it will never get patched.
