So my old Netgear router died on me and decided to upgrade to this bad boy right here. My speeds have improved like crazy and the amount of ground it covers is impressive. If you need a good router for gaming and supporting multiple devices at one, this is the one right here. Installation and everything was easy.

Bought this after my old router died. It has great range in an open floor plan but needed a signal extender in our new home. Works like a champ and I can turn off our son's Internet from my phone if needed ;). The software app works well and is very functional, even if you are not home.

Great range and speed, great router for the money!

This thing is the Lambo of routers. Tri band, smart phone capable & a myriad of goodies that come with it. When I punish my kids i can take away their WiFi without taking away their device remotely. It’s perfect for a smart home since it gives it a dedicated band and that leaves two bands for streaming and another for guest.

For the longest time I was using the apple router and I noticed my internet was lagging. So I went to get a new router and after I installed it my internet experience vastly improved. I totally recommend getting a good router.

I have had this router for just over two years (purchased 06/2019). After the first thirty days I discovered that one of the four LAN ports was no longer functioning. I contacted Netgear, went through the entire troubleshooting script, and was told that I would need to send it in to them for repair. This would leave me without a functioning router so I said no. I had an extra ethernet switch lying around so I just plugged that in to mitigate the missing LAN port. Go forward about two years to now and the router has been having issues with dropping wifi on the #1 5GHz band. In the intervening two years I have had issues with the phone app not working properly, the web interface being extremely slow, and the QoS not updating once. I can honestly say that while the router has largely functioned adequately up to this point, I have not really been satisfied with my experience. I am now in the market for a new router. Prior to this I had an ASUS router that I absolutely loved. It lasted for years before it began to have connectivity issues, as was expected with how old it was. I am now going back to ASUS because that previous experience was solid. I can't say that I have been very impressed with the craftsmanship or longevity of this Nighthawk. I had been pretty excited to go this route because I had heard and read some good things about the Nighthawk line of products. For the price paid I would expect it to last at least three years, preferably five minimum, but that has not been my experience. I will probably not buy another Netgear product due to this and don't intend to ever have them in the running for my money again. Super easy to setup and full of great features. I do alot of online work with video calling and this things wifi range is the best I ever had. It was a upgrade, having 3 channels for wifi I am able to work and stream TV while my kids play on there iPads. And the bang for the buck makes this my all time favorite.

Our internet is much faster and the range is further. Note that the parental controls are limited and are linked to Circle. For more advanced settings we had to pay yearly which was approx $50.00

Had to replace a WiFi router that kept loosing connection. This one has done great during this period of intense usage. Two adults working from home and two kids attending school. All streaming programing and music while working.

If Yours works. Mine only worked on the 5Ghz channels. All my smart home devices require 2.4Ghz with channels between 1-11. After a bunch of back and forth with Netgear support, they agreed it was bad and sent me a new one. Use Smart Connect to have only one SSID.

Replaced an aging router. Great coverage. Higher speeds.

I really enjoyed the ease of set up with this device. It did not take a lot of time to read and content in the box. Once opened it was up and going in 15 minutes with all devices firing swiftly. Did not realize how much speed I was paying for but not actually getting due to the router.

Very fast and efficient router for household that has 20+ devices on the network at one time. Only drawbacks are that the interface could use some updating and updates are very seldom.
