Easy to set up super fast speeds great range on wifi

We had to upgrade our router due to having 4 people accessing the wifi through several different devices all day while home during COVID. Great range in our house which is 2,400 sqft bi-level. Computers, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs working at various times and connection is great.

Worked excellent for my entire house until it came to update the firmware and now the device powers down whenever you try to config anything. Cannot be manually installed and the phone app crashes the device into reboot mode. It hass only been 2 years of owning this device and Netgear has stated no coverage for support on this device. Close to 300 dollars and now it only works when it wants to.

I purchased this router to replace an older Netgear router that I had been using for years. This Nighthawk X6S is a great router! Very easy to set up, and the WiFi range and speed is much better than I expected it to be. I also downloaded the Nighthawk app to my phone which allows me to control my router remotely when I am not at home.

What I really liked about the router was the range and signal strength. I no longer require an extender to access a bedroom at the end of the house. The setup was easy with great flexibility.

I have used the X6S router for over a month . Several wifi devices can easily be operated at the same time on it with no effort. It was also easy to set up and configure. I would purchase this router again and I recommend it.

With multiple people working/studying at the house during the quarantine, we needed a new router and access point that could handle increased speed and bandwidth. This device fit the bill, was easy to set up and has really delivered on the speed promise! Very happy with this purchase!

quick and easy to install, a very dependable router

I bought this router to replace two other routers that I have purchased previously all the other Riders I have purchased they worked well the range wasn't that great and for some reason it kept dropping the signal so I ended up buying this router and I love it no problems whatsoever best router I ever owned

Netgear's Nighthawk or Orbi apps to set up your router have their moments. Some times good sometimes great sometimes you want to know how they are still business. If your not good with setting up computers and networks get help. Nighthawk app has an option called smart connect which is a quick and easy way to et up. If you buy a Netgear Router get a hold of them they will support you. If the time runs out before you talk to their support forget about it. Netgear has great products and when purchasing from Best Buy do yourself a favor and purchase Best Buy their Total Tech Support. It is worth it!

So far so good. Easily managed. I have 2 channels out there for guests and for home. Don’t set this to optimize devices because phone will just have a breakdown with constant disconnections. Set up you 5ghz and that’s it. If someone can’t join it tell them it’s too bad.

This is an amazing piece of equipment. Installation was super easy and didn't need any outside support to get up and running. Super stable operation with multiple devices on at any given time...we're a smart home so handling 25+ devices is not a problem with this wifi router.

Bought this to replace an older NetGear router that was having issues handling the increased traffic. Since I updated to the Nighthawk I have had zero Facetime, Zoom, etc. breakups of video or audio. Setup was very simple. i was up & running in less than 15 minutes.

Very fast speeds when close to router, but had to return as I needed a longer range because of house configuration. That being said, very fast speeds in the room where located.

I pay for 500mbps internet, but was only getting 150mbps on the speed test. Threw my old router out, bought this bad boy and now I get 450mbps+. I live in a small 1 story house so this may be overkill, but I have the peace of mind that I will have strong connection.

Multiple sources of wifi so no overload on system. Great to be able to game while wife streams movies with no lag. Overall product! Wait did I mention the house is 3 levels so it’s great when I don’t have to hard wire the game into wall

This replaced an older router I had. I’m in a condo so there’s a lot of interference and this tri-band router resolved those issues. It appears that the antennas may be for show. I found no degradation in signal quality if they were up or down.

If it’s technical it’s Gotta be Netgear . Always been a great product for our family. I found it easy to use easy to install and always dependable. I’m a huge fan of their products even tho it can be costly but well worth it in my opinion.
