I have a partially 'smart' home with 50 connected devices and this router handles them with ease and I continue to get high bandwidth esp. with the two 5Ghz bands for streaming. Easy to set up and many options which Have yet to explore.

My family needed a new router as our old one was not supporting all of the devices in our house. The Nighthawk X6S works great in our home!! No more devices buffering or running slowly

This router solved all the problems that we had at our home. Due to COVID-19 , our bandwidth was well beyond its limit. But this router really increased our range and strength, and we can all go to work and school.

Been using this router for about three months now, no issues. Stable firmware, which has been an issue in the past. Requires a little bit of set up at first to get the most out of it, but for the most part, pretty easy.

I don't mind paying a little extra for a great product and after wasting my time and money on cheaper routers, I have been pleased with the Netgear Nighthawk. You can notice the difference in the speed once you have it connected. It won't disappoint

We have a long house and my office is a one end and my bedroom at the other. Previous router couldn't get the signal strength that far. This one slays it, Great signal in the bedroom now, Highly recommend it.

Best router that i have invested in.. easy to use app lets you manage your internet anywhere on the phone or table to use it to turn off certain items and helps spread the internet around the house eaqually

Best WiFi router..it is expensive but well worth it. I live in a 3000 sqft home and there is t a spot that doesn’t get a good WiFi signal. Buy this if you are serious about internet connection speeds and features!

Wi-Fi was cutting in and out, our house is large and has multiple levels, after doing a lot of research I decided to give this router a try because it did have the top ratings for it’s category and it seems like it’s working great!

price is pretty high, but i think its worth it. NOT PLUG AND PLAY! if youre buying this you HAVE to open everything up to get the speed it can reach. i love how i can control everyones internet from my phone too.

I have absolutely nothing but praise for this product. Setup with the new app is a breeze and great signal strength throughout our 6200sqr ft house. Very impressed. Also, I use only Apple products other than this router and my netgear modem

Really great router, a lot of routers couldn’t cover the area and range of my house, but this one could reach all areas with good WiFi connection. Has many channels to spread out usage.

I've owned many routers and have IT experience. I've owned Linksys products and Netgear products in the past. I would not recommend this unit/model to anyone nor Netgear products going forward. From what I see, this is Netgear getting lazy and providing poor customer value. I purchased the R8000P as a replacement for a much older Nighthawk that was starting to have problems after 3 years of use. I decided to go with another Nighthawk instead of Grid Router system because the router is centrally located and should have sufficient range to cover the entire house - like the previous router. However, I've had numerous problems with the unit and have since learned the following: 1) Unreliable products. The new products tend to have too many issues with connectivity and features. Features like "Smart Connect" are introduced but all over their community forums the recommended approach to fixing problems is to turn OFF this feature. Community forum has a number of people experiencing WIFI issues, dropped connections, and poor range. I've noticed the same problem with mine compared to the previous Nighthawk model. 2) Firmware is not updated on a regular basis. UI/Web interface has issues (limited number of WIFI devices listed). Frankly, the UI is not the biggest of issues, but I would expect improvements in their UI on a more regular basis. On a side note, Disney Circle is still not available for this product and may never be. But was a known limitation when purchasing. 3) Here is the big one. After less than 90 days of ownership you no longer have access to any kind of support other than talk to the community. No online chat, no email support, no phone support. While I can understand limiting support, it is unfathomable in this day and age that a company such as Netgear would provide 0 support for a product that costs over $300. And per Best Buy warranty it's not returnable after 45 days. I am looking to replace this router and will not consider Netgear router products going forward unless the company changes it's customer support practices and improves the quality of their products.

I had a tp link worst wifi router and kept lagging and logging me off school stuff, so I decided to go get a new one and wala no lagging at all kids and I stream and play video games with no cut off's.

This item was to replace an older one that could handle what we were throwing at it. This one handles multiple devices streaming at the same time. I would buy again.

I upgraded from an apple airport router and this is much more stable and also super fast. Auto connects your devices to the optimal band.

so far this has been a solid router, we have many devices throughout our home and everything has been pretty flawless thus far

We had to many devices for the old router.... it kept dropping signal. This router handles all our wireless devices without an issue. Set up was easy and straight forward.

I have some issues with this product, twice it unexpectedly lost internet connection. After confusing the technician, I had to do a hard reboot.

I’ve only had this router for about 2 weeks, but I’d highly recommend it. I was trying to decide between this one and the google WiFi, or Orbie.. I’m glad I went with this one, it covers my whole 2200sqft homes for a cheaper price than the others!
