I was able to save on leasing cost for my cable system by purchasing this router. It has saved me money in the long run and I don’t have any dead spots in the house or on the patio. Great product!

Purchased my Netgear Nighthawk upon recommendation of Best Buy sales person. Have three computers and two smart TV's in my home and needed full home coverage. This router does the job for full coverage. Plus it was on sale at a great price.

This nighthawk operates as expected. It had helped increase the range of our wifi to include all three floors of our home (~2400 sq ft.) plus much of our yard (~1/3 acre)

Works Fine - Not as Well as My Old Linksys!

I've almost exclusively had Linksys routers for years and years, but this last one I had wore out over time. For whatever reason, the signal stopped sending. At first, I thought it was my ISP, but it was actually something faulty with the router. Anyway, I decided to pick up this NetGear Nighthawk to replace my old Linksys. It was super easy to install - no issues there whatsoever. I like how it has multiple frequencies, but that's really where the "pros" stop. The online interface and app are complete garbage. They take forever to load. On my Linksys app, it was an immediate connection and I could do almost anything right from my phone. For whatever reason, the NetGear app just takes forever to connect to the router. Also, I have to reboot this router multiple times per week in order for the speeds to stay fast and consistent. I have fiber internet and have never had issues like this. I'll be on a device and it will just stop connecting to the internet. I'll then have to reboot the router and it works fine again. For the money, and maybe I'm biased, but I'd go for another Linksys router before I'd go for another NetGear. This one works fine with the exception of the issues I mentioned. I'll keep it for another year or so, but will likely replace it. The rebooting is a little ridiculous. I do not recommend this router.

I have stand alone DSL from the local telephone provider. The modem/router was provided and you had to use theirs. I was paying for the fastest speed because I am a remote worker. I now have 2 grandkids that live with us also and have attend school on line. It was just too much for that modem/router combo. I bought this Nighthawk and I cannot say enough about it! Now we can all zoom at the same time. My work computer and items are hard wired, house security system hard wired and the Tivo is hard wired. Everything else is wireless. Wireless download speed is consistently 93 Mbps and upload is consistently above 51 Mbps. Same modem with the router deactivated! Very satisfied!

I purchased this router almost two years ago and it is still running strong. Best wireless router I have ever purchased. It's 5Ghz signal strength is beyond words can explain. I currently have over 41 wireless devices connected to my router. I have configured all my smart home appliances, light bulbs, and switches to use the 2.4Ghz WiFi signal. Also configured the Smart TVs, Tablets, and cell phones to use the 5Ghz-1 WiFi. And I have laptops, servers, printers and computers using the 5Ghz-2 WiFi. Finally, when my friends and family visit, the Guest Wifi which is isolated from my network is enabled for their Internet browsing needs. Combined with a 400Mbps Spectrum Internet Service, this router will not disappoint. I love this router!!!

I suffered from a (what turned out to be) weak wifi router. Got this and I have no problem getting a signal on the other side of a 2800 sq ft home with many walls (one being a brick wall) in between.

Change from a RAX80 to this one due to the instability of the other one and do not regret it. We spend most of our time online either playing games or streaming movies and this router do not disapoint!

I currently have XFinity internet, with wired speeds at 940 mbps, but 200 mbps wireless (various tests including next to the router). For the money, and the features noted on the router, I expected more. I’ve had to call support twice because the router drops connections, and has to be rebooted. I ended up having to manually configure wireless channels (never had to do before) to even keep a connection for a day. I’m really disappointed in this router. It doesn’t deliver. My advice, keep shopping

This router was easy to hookup, easy to configure and is rocket-fast! The antennas seem to be a little flimsy and it does limit your options as far as locating this unit but I didn't run into any issues myself.

This was a replacement to an older version. Nothing wrong with the older version just lightening hit the house so needed to replace. It was easy to set up and worth the money. No need to buy the upgraded version.
