Excellent Speed but Loses SSID Settings

After a couple of days I came home to find that the router had reset the SSIDs that I setup to a factory default. I setup the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz channels again. The next day, the same thing happened. I once again setup the channels with the names and passwords I had. Over a one week period, this happened 8 times. I contacted Netgear support and was told that the issue is known with no solution. I was instructed to return the router and get a new one and hopefully the new one would not have the problem. I returned the router, but for an ASUS RT-AC3100 which has been nothing but great in terms of speed and reliability.
