Overall great product, had issues staying connected to the internet once we bought this item, we have no issues with connectivity. Have serval items connected 2 cellphones, 2 streaming devices, 2 TVS, 2 laptops, 2 smart watches, 1 PlayStation, 1 Nintendo switch and a printer. It’s worth the price,

When it’s working it has great range and stability for many devices, (Roku), cameras, iPad, switches, bulbs. But it goes down A LOT and needs to be rebooted. I can not depend on it to be dependable. Like, remote viewing my cameras when I am away from home etc, or turning on smart switches. It’ll need rebooting once a day and it cannot be rebooted remotely if there is no access. So, I read the reviews before bought it and took a chance.

My old Netgear router was giving my devices issues at even short ranges, phones clicked on wifi calling and hiccups were common. This was just the boost I needed and my home is streamline again. Plus it isn't an ugly piece of hardware in my opinion, its brilliantly illuminated and has a fun style to it. I recommend it!

I like my new netgear router it has a lot better range

One of the better routers I have ever owned. Love the three SSID's. I use the 2.4GHz band for things like Nest thermostat, Nest smoke/CO detectors, smart lights, etc. I use the 5GHz band 1 for smart phones, iPads and such. I the 5GHz band 2 for streaming devices like our smart TVs, Roku, AppleTV, etc.

Excellent WiFi speed and strong range but often goes out on its own. I’ve had to call netgear support multiple times and each time they run some sort of update and ensure me that it should resolve the issue. WiFi connection seems to go out almost everyday, if not every other day. Again, it supports extremely fast speeds with great range, just wish they could resolve the random disconnects.

Fast and easy to setup and works great in my basement

So i recently had the R7000P and it constantly dropped the wireless connections and was not stable at all. But once I purchased the X6S, it has been smooth sailing. Also, my whole setup is completely wireless, and no longer need to run a 30ft cable across the room for a stable connection.

I bought the Nighthawk X6S AC 4000 hoping for an improvement in the strength of the signal in my home. I even bought the companion X 8000 range extender. Disappointed that I don’t see very much improvement in either speed or signal strength.

So glad we purchased this router very easy setup.!

Almost a year after my purchase, I still didn't restart or reset or even touch it. I purchased and plugged in, made some changes on QoS and thats it, this router maintenance free, worry free, stress free. Just buy it dont even think or look around, this thing is seriously best.

The item was delivered as intended and works great

I replaced an older netgear router that died with this unit. It was brand new at the time and pretty expensive. I find that I need to reboot often but not sure if it is the internet provider or the router itself. It does cover the House well though.

BestBuy is our ‘go to’ source for competent advice on electronics. We have made many BestBuy purchases through the years and the purchase of this Netgear router was an excellent choice. I have never been disappointed by a Netgear product or by the advice and assistance from BestBuy associates.

We were having issues with our previous router not being able to sustain all of the devices that we have in our house so we purchased the Netgear Nighthawk. It is awesome!! All of our devices are running so much more efficiently and we're not having the connectivity issues that we were previously having. Highly recommend!
