It's hard to say how good this router is! Didn't just speed up bandwidth, but has made multiple computer use during pandemic seem like nothing. If you're unsure, just ask Best Buy Chat for routers compatible to your company. It's worth the money!

The only reason I'm giving this gadget such a high score is because of Kyle Storms. Without him spending 2+ hours in my home getting this thing to work, I would still have no internet. Period.

Since everyone is working from home or out of school this router works great and there is no slow down or interruptions in the WiFi signal the app lets you manage all the devices as well

this is my 2nd netgear nighthawk router, good range, works well with app, needs constant rebooting to work properly

We have had numerous times when it drops the signal and we have to reboot. When it’s working correctly it is awesome!

I would highly recommend. It’s connected to 4 TVs, PS4, cell phone, shark robot vacuum, direct tv, printer and computer. All WiFi signals Work perfect for all movies while gaming and I have never seen a loading or buffering screen.

Good upgrade from previous system, download to usb features are excellent. Wish they’d make the statistics and status in advanced mode more informative though. Also needs to be able to block individual IP’s

It’s okay. We still lose connection sometimes or maybe because we have an automated home so a lot of devices are connected to it.

Netgear makes a quality product. The only issue I had with the Nighthawk was that I couldn't get total coverage in my house. Having a larger sq ft house, it was my mistake for not buying the correct product/model. I do reccomend Netgear overall.

On busy night's we support not only all smart devices in the house, but also host 3 Xboxes online same time for gaming. Parental controls for time blocks and content restriction has also been a blessing.

Set up instructions were only mildly confusing but the phone app is handy and it works fine. My last router was 10 years old so not surprising this one is better.

I upgraded from Orbi router due to wifi connectivity issues specifically with my home integrated music systems and lag with smart TVs in upstairs level. No lag, interruptions since installing the Nighthawk. It's a beast!!! I'm truly impressed.

I have a lot of devices connecting to wi fi 15+ and with this router I never see any slowing of my net work. With the extra money if you have lot of devices.

Needed increased bandwidth for WFH and streaming TV. Minimal buffering and rebooting has been required. Had to make 1 call to support for setup but worked out fine.

I have to reset it at least every two weeks or less. when I do it works good for a while. It’s a little bit disappointed being so expensive.

This NetGear Nighthawk was added as an extended access point (AP) for my existing network. It is connected via LAN, and now I can connect my tv and devices wired, and have better wifi access in my family room and backyard.

I’ve been extremely happy with this router in our home. We just built and were in heed of a router because we didn’t want to rent one from the cable company and we’ve had no issues with it.

This router was recommended by our cable installer. It was easy to set-up and the improved signal has allowed us to reduce the number of cable boxes we need, which means less monthly expense. The unit is a little expensive but will save us $$ in the long run.

I may have gotten a lemon product, however I believe Netgear's quality control should have caught the issue. I bought this router, took it home and configured it with a new SSID and password, allocated bandwidth to a few devices and did speed tests. All was working well for a few weeks, then I had to unplug the router to clean and reorganize. I powered it down using the power button, unplugged it from the surge protector, discharged it, and set it aside. When I reinstalled it and powered it on, it did not retain any previous settings. I flashed it with stock firmware from Netgear's website and reconfigured it with my settings. This time a saved a .cfg profile just in case. I powered it down and up again with the same result. Basically the router would flash to factory settings whenever power is turned off. Great router if it never ever turns off. Hard pass from me.

It was a little more difficult to set up than I had imagined. Took a couple phone calls but customer service walked me right through it no problems. Handles my internet needs flawlessly
