Amazing router! Alittle tricky to set up but other then that it does the job! Good app aswell with a lot of miscellaneous features that can be used if needed.

Went from a linksys router to the nighthawk router. When we would loose power it would take 5 mins. For router to reboot. The night hawk takes about half the time

I had this router for a while, and have seen an instant improvement in my network performance. I bought on for my mother recently, and she said her internet is faster.

This router is the best of the best I get service everywhere in my house including and my front yard and backyard. It hooks up to all devices at fast speed

Around December of 2019 I decided to upgrade my internet equipment. I purchased a Netgear cm1000 modem and this router to go along with it. This router worked really well for three months consistently posting internet speeds above 300mps. About the end of the third month suddenly the router would push out no more than 60 to 90 MPS. I downloaded the latest firmware and did a factory reset. Nothing helped. My ISP came to the house and check all the wiring and couldn't find anything wrong there. I returned the router to Best Buy and got another just like it. This router would only broadcast between 60 and 90 MPS. However my mobile app clearly indicated it was receiving speeds from the modem in excess of 300 m p s. No amount of factory resets would help. This router also had the latest firmware installed. I return the router to Best Buy once again and got something different that actually worked.

This is an AWFUL router, and NetGear is an AWFUL company. I will never buy NetGear again! First - the router says I need a firmware update. Internet says there is a serious security flaw. Firmware update fails every single time when I try auto-update or manual update. No tech solution to this problem. I email tech support and they say - "buy the extended warranty and then we will help you." Are u kidding me??? Your product and your website don't work. This is how you treat customers??? Second problem is router cuts my ISP speed from 500 Gb/s to 290 Gb / s. Tried every possible setting change, nothing works. When I try to turn off QoS, the router logs me off and won't let me turn it off. What lousy software and firmware. Pathetic. NEVER BUY NETGEAR AGAIN.

After trying several routers with no luck we call geek squad After is suggested unit we purchased it and have him install it Since then no issues with internet at home

Our internet was so slow before buying this booster. It is sad that we have to buy a booster because the internet provider gives you such a lousy router, but whatever.

This router is exactly what we were looking for. We are now able to connect wirelessly out in our backyard and many other places we could not connect before. Great deal, works for our needs.

Set this router up and it worked fine. Check internet speed and it was reporting 250m when I have a 1gb internet connection. The router reported 800m to 900m speeds but the most any device wired or wireless did not come close. Called netgear.customer support and they are horrible. I am returning this to bestbuy.

This really help our internet, because living in the country is a challenge to get good internet. But this really helped!

Needed this product due to spectrum equipment only handles 1500 sq. ft. We purchase this product & now get great reception out to guest house & throughout our 1/2 acre. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend wanted to get a new router, didn't feel the internet lagging but it made a difference for him when he plays games online

It came with 3 separate network and the whole household can select from which network they want to connect to. Able to pause device like parental guard for kids using the netgear app .

Was having issues with internet and the previous router was not able to carry our home camera system and devices. Since purchasing I have not had a single issue.

This is my second one because Bestbuy doesn’t carry about other decent brands. The first one was faulty and after messing around with the second one I feel like I got it working properly. The product is cheaply made, the antennas aren’t straight and flimsy. If I had the choice I would’ve went for an Asus.

I would have given 5 stars if not for the fact we have to reboot the router every 3-4 days in order for the computers on WiFi to connect.

Works well, strong wireless signal and a vast amount of wireless coverage. Just wish I had faster internet to test its full potential.

Had it for a month and needed 1-2 resets when it stopped working, otherwise it is good. Exchanged this for X10, so far so good
