    This device is limited in admin controls. The band Smart Connect is horrible. My 2.4 device get dropped as it tries to force over to the 5G band. The 2.4 network by it self works good but the 5G wireless has weak signal strength on both. Hate the mobile app management tools. I thought I was upgrading from my Apple airport but is not as good. The device has a subscription which is not worth it. Using OpenDns to filter traffic is probably better then the scanning app. I think this is causing some of my device connectivity issues.

    Bought this router hoping it would eliminate dropped wifi/lag, it kinda did the opposite... Would have to power off and on every other day, cell phone wifi and Xbox would drop... Bought the Nighthawk Xr500 in its place and I'm much happier.
