    The antennas break easy but what really upset me is there is no control on the firewall. Services you turn off are turned back on and you cannot shut down your ports. If you get this router buy a firewall to go in front of it as port 21 is always on. You can block websites but cannot block incoming IPs Last this device has 6 (yup 6) wireless networks. 3 -2.4 and 3 5Ghz.. as people do not understand how really works, that is a lot of noise for your neighborhood, great for personal speed. It would be nice if people did not think they need to add more noise to the floor.

    Stay away. The router will not update firmware either through the GUI or doing the manual process. It is obsurd that Netgear will force you to pay for support in order to fix an update problem that A LOT of customers are having with this model. When I called support the rep had the never to ask me why do I want to update my firmware; to fix security issues, obviously. Readyshare is also terrible.

    I have had this router for just about a month as I needed an upgrade for my old wifi router as I would be working from home. The only issue is that the 2.4 ghz channel no longer connects to the internet. The 5.0 ghz channels work great and have had no issues with those, but I have been unable to get in contact with Netgear yet. I have attempt firmware rollbacks after full resets but the issue persists. Shame that all my 2.4ghz devices are unable to connect to the internet via in home wifi now. Do not recommend this device for an average user.
