While I've only had it a couple of months, this router seems like a great purchase. My old router kept kicking us offline and dumping half of the devices that were on. This router is stronger, as my daughter was still using it at the bus stop about 40 yards away and I have no problems with 16 devices connected...so far so good!

I've had this for about 3 months now and so far so good. I upgraded from an Apple time capsule from 2008. My connection to my Mac started to become unreliable and bandwidth was slow. When I had many devices connected with guests over things would come to a halt. Aside from a wireless router my internet is decently fast. I get about 120+ megs per second download and 6 meg per second upload with a wired connection. Now with this new router and connecting wirelessly I get about 90 megs per second download and 5 megs per second upload. This is a lot faster than my old time capsule which at most got 60 megs per second. So bandwidth has been great. Lots of connected devices and all seem to go fast. As far as range goes I'm not super thrilled. I might have expected more out of an AC router but I still needed to get an extender to reach the far corners of my house. The distance from my router to my master bedroom is about 100' in a straight line and there are may 4 walls in between but I thought AC could do it -- it can't. It's a great router for speed and maybe my expectations were too high for range -- not sure. If you have money to burn, which I don't, I totally recommend this thing because it performs pretty well. I marking this as not recommended to a friend purely due to the value / price ratio of the item.

Bought a bigger house and needed an upgrade to hit all levels with wi-fi. It has been flawless in the month we've had it. Strong signals everywhere!

I've been buying Netgear devices for 20 years now and this is the best WiFi router yet. The increased speed and range capabilities allow me to have a TV, DVD player, Soundbar, 2 Surround and 7 other speakers, plus 3 security cameras, 2 Computers, 1 Tablet and my phone all connected simultaneously with no issues and take full advantage of my 250 + Mbps download speed.

The price is a little expensive. But after reading reviews from different websites ,it was ranked the best, I have a lot of devices, over 12. And at least 6 devices running at one time, and I get no lag or buffering.. it is expensive but i don't want to have to worry about speed ever again

Appears have improved the performance of the three main devices I run off of it. Cannot compensate totally for my lousy internet provider however.

If you need a powerful router than this is the one to get but pricey. Able to handle five iPhones, four iPads, three computers and Roku streaming.

Definitely worth the money!!(trust me) if you are streaming videos or online gaming and have many devices, this is the router you need to have!!

Very nice and extremely fast router! Works great with all of our TV's, iPads, Laptops, etc. No problems setting up and easy connection of devices. The 5G wireless is extremely fast on this router too.
