Works great, coverage is good around the house. I don't know if it's my service provider or the modem, but sometimes internet drags.

I was having difficulty getting wifi throughout my home because I own an older home with plaster on metal lath. I can now get wifi throughout my home and far boundaries of my yard

This is the fifth Netgear NightHawk router I have purchased (not all for my own use). Setup is super easy and fast, and has lots of advanced configuration for most scenarios.

We have business meetings at our house and were needing a more powerful router. This router has worked awesome. Our internet works faster and does not kick us off. Great product

I've had this for about a month and it seems to work much better than the standard box the cable company provides. I'm now able to use my components on the back patio.

We had problems getting web access in our home. With the Nighthawk X8 router we now have great web access throughout our property.

Works excellent with comcast, better than the one they give you, I used for video conference, skype, videos games and online tv. the speed go way better with this router.

The Netgear Nighthawk R8500 is a very powerful and fast wireless router. Also the Genie App has a lot of advanced features and it also has a built in 8 Port Switch.

Easy setup great range - smooth consistent signal . Needed better consistent with greater range as I work from home . Mission accomplished .

It was a little rough getting set up partly due to Cox, but once it was I have not had a problem yet. Runs super fast, very happy

Is great for streaming 4k, and everyone else in the house can stream their devices PS4 ,Labtops and of course phones. Would definitely recommend for the right price.

Excellent router with plenty of signal coverage. A little hard to setup correctly, but amazingly fast after everything is setup.

So far the nighthawk X8 is proving to be a wise purchase. Setup was quick and easy and have not experienced many dips in internet connections and speed. Great Router!!!

I recently had a change of service with my Fios internet. The modem that Verion provided had very poor signal strength, so I bought this one. I now have much better coverage.

I purchased this because my Linksys wireless router died. I had a small booster that I purchased separately for the Linksys and that allowed the signal throughout the house. I was told that the Netgear wireless router should work without the need for a booster because it is newer and powerful than the Linksys. For almost 3 times the cost, it sure should be. It doesn't. I am not impressed at all. My house is 3000 square feet. Shouldn't be that hard to get a signal in another area of the house.

Great and powerful...ac, 2 and 5 ghz....lots of home and guest networks. Great for gaming also. This unit has a big punch!

best router yet pricey but worth it if you want fast WiFi with a lot of devices ( I have 2 xbox one's ,1 ps3,3 tablets, 4 smart phones, 1 smart tv )with no problems

Hi, this is my second attempt at Netgear. The first one stopped working within 2 days and it would just not start. Setting up the second one was the same trouble. OK I am coming from the Apple world since they stopped making Wireless routers and I need to get a new one so I chose this one based on the reviews. Since it has been setup it is working fine but I am very afraid to touch it again because it took me almost half a day to set it up and get it working. Compared to Apple which is turn on use the utility app and you are done. I wish Apple would re-think of making their routers again.
