This is the best router I have ever owned. You won't regret this purchase. Speed never slows down and I live in a two-story house.

We had dead spots in are house. Are cable guy told us about this router. Picked it up and now no more dead spots in the house

I got rave reception above and beyond my 75MBPS, but was unable to keep it because my Netgear modem was WIFI, therefore it was conflicting with my modem. When I hooked it up individually with a single computer, the MBPS was above 300, even though my Comcast service for my modem is quoted to produce up to 75MBPS. I recommend this router. Make sure you have ONLY a modem without WIFI to use thisWIFI router. I will definitely buy another one when I decide to give up my wireless modem/router combination

I used this remounted to replace both my inside and outside routers. It covers a 3600 SQFt house and the 0.5acre property.

This Router out performs previous model with a few more up grades that allows for expansion and dedicated access for other units.

Great router. Extent the overall range and strength of my house wifi. Do not buy at full price. I got it on sale for 100 off

I am the network administrator at my company, but I don't want to deal with Enterprise routers and such when I'm home. This thing just works and does it well with enough bells and whistles to last a long time. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because out of the box it doesn't allow you to set up a router level VPN which would be great in light of the recent bills passed through congress throwing away privacy protections. There is a DD-WRT build for it that presumably allows this.

With over 20 WiFi devices in our house (laptops, phones, smart home devices) the entire family was fighting for WiFi signal, but no longer the case with our Nighthawk X8 - plenty of Wifi for all, including our online gaming son. Only complaint was that installation was not as simple as directions said, had issues getting router and modem to talk to each other, had to shut down and reboot both units over a dozen times for them to start working together - since then no issues.

This router was easy to set up, and is powerful enough to get wifi signals in the garage a few hundred feet from the router.

I have a 2 story 3600 sq ft home and it covers the whole house. I can even go good ways down the street before I lose signal.

This router has cause my Internet streaming and everything wirelessly to be way faster in my home without lag or slow process.

I'm so Happy I know can use my 4K TV'S , Computers, Phones, and Blue Ray Players can stream all at once without a problem!

Upgraded to this and love it. The range is great and we can connect up to 12 devices without lag or dropping anyone off.

Terrific WiFi and video streaming performance. Very easy to setup and get started.

It runs cameras, laptops, Netflix, Amazon Echo, and the Comcast Xfinity 1 system all at the same time, uninterrupted.
