We live in a somewhat rural area with several outbuildings around our main house where I am often out working in. To now, my home wireless network would not reach these buildings and would extend only maybe 20 or 30 feet from the exterior of the house. This Netgear system has changed all of that. Setting it up was straightforward, and now I have a strong wifi signal out to all of the buildings, so I’m never out of range with my phone nor my laptop if I have it with me. Similarly, we have had plans to finish a portion of our basement for my wife to use as a home office. Until now, the situation in the corner of the basement where we want to locate the office suffered the same signal strength problem as did the outbuildings, and we were not sure what to do. But not anymore. With this wifi system, the signal in all parts of the basement is as strong as anywhere in the house and will work well for the office. If you have a large property or have a need for your wifi signal outside of your main house of if you have signal strength problems within your house in some locations because of distance from the wifi router, don’t waste another minute. Get one of these systems, install it, and you will wonder why you waited so long.

Reliable and easy to install
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a fan of Orbi systems. About 9 years ago, I tested out a variety of Wi-Fi routers from different brands and ended up on the Orbi AC3000 (RBK50) tri-band. For these past 9 years, Orbi has never failed me. However, I am realizing it has become time to upgrade the router to keep up with the multitude of devices that most households have become accustomed too. I was worried about setting up a new 370 router, knowing that I have 50+ devices currently set up to old AC3000. I was pleased to find out that it was very simple to switch Orbi systems. During setup, it was as easy as just giving the new router the same name/password as the old router. Within minutes, all of my devices connected to the new router. Another reason I wanted to upgrade routers was for the expanded coverage that I would get with the 370 series. In my 3-story house, I place the router on the main floor and then one satellite was placed on the lower level while the other is on the second floor. This gave me full coverage for all my devices to get the best possible network speed. I also tested the range outside my house (backyard, driveway, etc) and had a slight speed decrease but not enough to impair my connection. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade and have a bit of future proofing with Wi-Fi 7.

Great mesh router that gives full performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this set for our guest-house (also used as an airbnb). It's not that large, but because of the construction materials, it has a lot of dead-spots for a traditional router. By going mesh, it was my hope to strategically position the access points to give ample coverage no matter where you go in the guest house. Setup was simple, then again I've set up a lot of wifi routers as I work in the technology field and also do installations of similar routers on the side for a little extra cash. Pretty much every router on the market has an app that you can setup the entire set of devices on your phone or tablet - this is no different. After just a little tweaking, I was able to give full-bar signal to any location in the guest house and was able to open up a few ports for a couple of server-like devices I have housed in a locked up area of the house. No difficulty at all, but since I was replacing the router/modem combo that the cable company provides, I had to call their customer service and have them set the model up for "bridged" mode, otherwise I was dead in the water. A great setup by Netgear - they have yet to fail me!

Netgear- Orbi 370 Series Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Netgear Orbi 370 Series Dual Band Mesh Wi-Fi System was a bit confusing out the box setup. In doing reasearch and deep diving into AI, I realized that the lights did not have to be showing for Netgear Orbi 370 Series to be in operating status. It would have save me a lot of time and frustration i if this was mentioned in setup process. The Router that I replaced always displayed a blue light for connection and red for not connected. I finally just disconnected the system and had it to recycle overnight. Once I reconnected the Router to my modem and then reconnected the two satelites back up the next day, the Router and Satlelites finally sync together. I did download the Netgear Orbi App that have lots of features and benefits in understanding how your Wi-Fi works such as Device Manager, Internet Speed, Wi-Fi Analytics which has its own settings that measures Signal Strength, Home Testing, Network Status, Channel Interferance, Channel Graph and Signal Graph. I am confused that at this writing it shows my Current Channel as 153 with 9 networks and Clarity as Poor. It recommends Channels with less traffic but how do I switch to another channel is the question for another day. My Network Map is showing the Orbi Router connected to the Internet and both Satelites Online so why should I be connected to a poor Channell when my Speedtest is always over 700 mbps with Upload at 41.66, stating that my internet speed is very fast. So, if I switch my Roku Ultra from Modem Wi-Fi to Orbi Router the Internet Download Speed is less even though it is saying the signal strength is excellent. Hopefully it will get better as I continue to use The Netgear -Orbi 370 Series Wi-Fi 7 System in expanding my Wifi coverage and speed.

Improved Wi-Fi Range and Speeds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using my existing router for the past few years. While it has worked well, I've had issues with dead spots in my 2300 square foot home. I also didn't have the best range. I was hoping that this Orbi mesh system from Netgear would help with these issues and I was pleased to see that they did. While it doesn't have all of the specs/features that some higher end (and more expensive) systems have, I found it more than capable of providing excellent Wi-Fi throughout my home. Setting up the system on the app was the best experience I've had when hooking up a new router. I was half-expecting to run into issues as I typically do with router apps, but they seem to have made this set-up process idiot proof. I appreciate this because even some of us tech savvy people can get frustrated when things don't work right out of the box. Many apps can seem poorly thrown together but I found this one to work as intended and be quite user friendly. After getting everything hooked up and working, I used the system for a few days and the results were like night and day from my old stand-alone router. Not only were my dead spots gone, but my wireless speeds were significantly better on both stories and each corner of my home. With 4 family members often using the internet at the same time for various things, I didn't experience any issues with buffering, slowdowns, or disruptions. If you have a medium to large sized home and utilize your W-Fi for regular activity like TV/movie streaming and casual gaming, this Orbi system would be an excellent choice.
