We chose the Netgear Orbi mesh router before shopping as we recently upgraded our ISP to 600 mbps with TDS and our old router was insufficient. Best Buy helped us decide on which Orbi and even though already on sale, matched Amazon’s price which was even lower. In addition, our purchase gave us reward points, which is another plus. The Orbi router setup was easy and using the Orbi app, we saw we are now above the 600 mbps. We put the extender in my study, which works well.

Initially thought of base with 2 satellites, but base with 1 satellite more than enough for our space. Regularly run anywhere from 8-13 wifi components any given day and have had no problems with Orbi providing seemless operation.

I purchased the Orbi to create a mesh network on a three story house. First initial setup was not to complicated. Download the App and the system finds the satelights. Change the Name and set a passowrd. The only problem I had was the app was not allowing the system to go past the firmware updates. Resorting to signing in online and going through the process there allowed for me to complete the setup. Once that was complete the system continues to be very easy for anyone to put into place.

setup is easy on a computer not on the iPhone. stays connected and works wonders vs Linksys. Neatgear for life.

I purchased an Orbi AX4200 system to replace a Nighthawk router that had radios that were failing. The Orbi provides much better coverage with maximum WiFi speed throughout my home. I appreciate the three Ethernet ports on the router along with the Ethernet ports on the satellites. Setup was fairly easy and fine tuning settings through the web interface provides complete control over my network. The iOS app is convenient. All in all a great home networking system.

I consider myself pretty technical, but I haven’t ever setup a network like I had to in order to get the Orbi system to work. Apparently the system really craps out if there is another router running, as was the case with my AT&T hardware. Once I opened that up with an IP Passthrough and turned off the AT&T WiFi, Orbi worked great and I can get the gig speeds I'm paying for all over the house. 3700sf covered easily with this two satellite one router/satellite system. Very pleased in the end.

We live in a remote area with terrible reception and we rely heavily on internet for personal use and our business as well. We have tried so many ways and options over the years with no success. We are so happy we chose this system. The price is high but worth every penny. Our internet reaches farther than suggested and covers every inch of our large property. Best investment thus far! We have already recommended it to family friends and neighbors struggling with the same issues. So glad we took a chance on this !!

I previously had the Google Wi-Fi, and thought it was pretty good up until my connection would come and go sporadically. After reading some reviews on the Orbi mesh WiFi 6 I thought I would give it a shot. My network connection has been solid ever since after making the switch a week ago. The only downside to the switch from Google Wi-Fi is that there is no family filter protection for devices navigating the web. If that’s a near future feature, then that will take this mesh network over the top. In the end, network connectivity for my smart home is paramount and I can appreciate the concentrated effort that Netgear has provided with this mesh system.

We have always been a fan of netgear… but my nighthawk wifi extenders was bleeding internet. We upgraded to the orbi mesh and each device is getting significantly more consistent speed allowing us to game / stream / have guests on the network simultaneously. In the age of tiktok/netflix/discord/and more I couldn’t be happier. Money well spent

Product was very simple to setup. Great range and no issues with connection thus far. Would highly recommend for a large home.

Nice mesh home WiFi. Works perfectly with my NetGear modem and was pretty easy to set up. Took a few tries, but once it was up and running, it's great. Got it to set up a safer experience for kids on the internet, and it doesn't disappoint. In conjunction with DNS filtering, it's wonderful. Lots of options and flexibility.

This system has dramatically sped up my service within my home. I work from home and this system has upped my speed 10 fold. I’m able to do what I need to with working from home and I’m able to monitor my kids usage and what they are searching. Hopefully I win this gift card so I can purchase both the parental service and the armor!

We replaced our Google mesh system with the Orbi. It's been amazing, no dropped signals, streaming doesn't buffer forever anymore. We only have 11 devices connected to the system but it has made an incredible difference. We are now seeing 573 Mbps downloads and 22 Mbps uploads. Would highly recommend trying.

I upgraded my home wi-fi with Orbi, now I have a faster internet at every corner of my 4500 sq ft home and my back porch. Using the original router my internet speed was not good even when I was close to router, Orbi was 5x faster closer to main router and kept more than 70% of the speed even a little bit far from the satellites. To install, I connected ir to original router, and the phone app guided my step by step, very easy.

We have been looking for and found our Dream wireless solution. Easiest setup ever, was even able to add a network printer, amazing speed, no lag, just an outstanding all around solution to our wireless network needs.

The Orbi performs better than I could have dreamed. My last system dropped by 30% from one unit to another. With an incoming signal strength of 400MBS, I get between 420 and 380 MBS through most of my 4000 sq foot house, even in the gym which has 3 2/3 concrete walls. When I had an issue in setup, tech support was quite helpful - even during the height of the Covid pandemic. I recommend this highly to anyone for their home, office or combination. It is well worth the money.

Great router! The better connection and range has made working at home and home schooling so much better.
