Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

I had an older router that kept dropping my internet connection; my nest doorbell kept sending me offline messages; and zoom meetings often gave me narrow broadband width messages. My wife and I each have smartphones and computers and, in addition, I have a tablet. Since installing the Netgear Orbi AX 4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-fi System, I have received none of the messages mentioned above. However, my wife has received one such message. I am very happy with the purchase. However, being somewhat of a novice with computer systems, I spent a lot of hours getting the system up and going, finally called Netgear's customer service twice, and got everything online except my wife's computer which had operated on wi-fi under the old router. We discovered that her computer was incompatible with the newer Netgear system. I ordered a Cudy wi-fi adapter, which plugs into the USB port and is half the size of a flash drive. She then easily went online. The netgear system has been a blessing. We had a big Christmas Family Gathering via Zoom with no problems. I am giving the system a 5 rating in all respects below but when it comes to value my rating does not apply to price. It is too expensive but it is of great value to me. Regarding ease of use, once it is installed it is easy to use but for me it was not easy to get the system up and running.

Can't say enough good things about this. It was easy to setup, connected to my modem no problem. The satellite connected right away. Changed to my old network name and all my devices joined right away. Had it for three weeks and no glitches. Love Netgear!

This thing is fast. 3 times faster than the linksys velop i replaced this with. Im also not getting the frequent drops in signal i got with linksys. Coverage on this is far superior to the velop. I should have never cheaped out with the velop and bought this first. Lesson learned.

Bought this about a month ago. Spectrum router had poor coverage through out most of my house. This system has given me a STRONG signal everywhere in the house. Much easier to install than I expected (NOT an IT guy). Well worth the money. One of the all time best purchases!

After problems with the Nighthawk line by NETGEAR, I spoke with the local internet provider at my house who suggested the Orbi. It was extremely easy to set up, has worked flawlessly thus far, and second unit looks appealing in the house. My only regret is that the circle app I was using on my prior setup is no longer useful.

More than I wanted to spend, but I needed an upgrade now that I am permanently WFH. I really like how it automatically selects the 2.4GHz or 5GHz. I have 18-20 devices connected at any given time and they all have great signal strength and I have noticed a much better connection to my smart TV when streaming. If you have the $, it's a nice upgrade.

I have tried other systems including the Netgear Nighthawk but these rock the planet! I have a 4300 SQFT house with real walls (brick) and the system allow me to extend your wireless network over multi rooms (basement/2nd Floor). I have a 600 MBps internet speed from X-Infinity at the router point...The Mesh WI-FI was allowing to extend beyond 75ft distances at a speed of 300-400 MPBs with 100% Signal. No other system will do this! Enough bandwidth for all your devices, multiple 4K or 8K UHD. Since we have 2 X-Box and zoom conferences concurrently!! Drawbacks: It only comes with only 1 Orbit Satellite extender! I want to buy a 3rd extender unit but they are not out yet. Netgear mentioned on April 23rd 2020 anyday now!! But until now I am still praying!!

I am so glad I got this instead of google nest mesh wifi. This has been so consistant and awesome download speeds. Definitely getting easily 4 to 5 times better speeds than my previous router. And at times can get 10 times better speeds and coverage. Kind of sad that I didnt check Costco first as they have a 3 pack for just slightly more. I would ahve gotten it there.

I have an older Orbi mesh system that still works great. For my new house I tried the Google Nest Wifi and another cheap mesh system from amazon. Neither worked. Finally decided to get this wifi 6 Orbi system. This is the first router that I have clocked at the full gigabit speed. Have had it for over a month now and it has kept up well with over 40 devices.

We have att fiber internet so we expected better than we had. I finally got sick of things dropping and bought this new router. Found it wasn't actually the internet that was the issue but AT&Ts router. We hooked this up to their modem and disabled the AT&T wifi. Signal is much stronger now and so far we have had 0 drops. Should have done this sooner.

This is super fast and the setup is pretty easy. The directions leave out one crucial detail. They have you set up a password, but then the login password is on the bottom of the device. Once I remembered this from a previous Netgear install, it went pretty smoothly. Also, be sure to remove all other routers and extenders from their connections before setting this up.

Need to have a mesh system that would support 2 work from homes and a student in a 2700 foot 3 level home. Multiple devices streaming and a total of 20 some devices, including smart home and security. Doesn't miss a heart beat and have not had any issues in the last month. Definitely worth the future proofing with AX too. Hope these routers lasts for years!

I had an EERO PRO system that would not recognize security items and was slow for the ATT glass entering the home. I moved to a TP-LINK AC 4000 with a TP-LINK range extender. This worked well for a minute until it started losing channels. The ORBI was recommended at BEST BUY and has been fast and it has been easy to connect all security items. Good purchase.

I purchased this Mesh system to replace the wifi from my Fios router. The setup was very easy, and the performance is better. I am getting 400mpbs or better depending on the device. The signal does not drop on devices like it does with my Fios router. My PC which is less than 10ft away from the router would drop all the time. Now it stays on strong.
