Just upgraded my system; these work beautifully and install pretty quickly; am very impressed with coverage area, speed, and simplicity

I bought it and it gives us all a great coverage, though it is a bit expensive devise. But, it is worth it to pay that much :)

I was in much need of a new router, and needed something that would cover a larger area for a larger home, Orbi to the rescue! Set up was straight forward, place the home unit and satellite where they need to be, use the mobile app to set up, (which is simple to use) and I was up in running in no time. Haven’t had too many issues since. Just note that this is WiFi 6, so you should test your devices after set up to make sure they can accept it. Good choice overall!

Finally, I have decent wifi after years of ATT Airties mesh junk. I have a 3,400 square foot 1 story block house and I can now walk completely around the house with an extremely strong and fast signal. With the Airties garbage ATT pushes I never saw more than 1 or 2 of my 35 devices on any other the mesh satellites. With this system my phone seamlessly switches back and forth from the router to the satelite depending on where I am in my house.

We bought this for our home FIOS service and so far so good. Great speeds and no dead zones in our 2 story 2100 sq ft home.

Amazing Speed - Had a little bit of a challenge get it setup at first. Need to up grade firmware. Netgear Tech support was very helpful. 24/7. Once I got thing settle, I am amazed at the speed. Thing I used to have to cable from one computer to another, I can now just copy over the wireless. Because of the having 2 ethernet port on the Satellite , I was able to remove the Ethernet over Powerline I was using to be able auto connect my VPN router back to my office. It cost a little more but I think worth it.

Love it. Really easy to set up, and the mobile app including remote monitoring is helpful. The dead spot in the basement is gone!

Great mesh router. It was easy to setup with the app. My speeds have doubled and my coverage is much better throughout the house.

Initial setup did not work, it took about an hour for the app to see both routers. when it did finish, I got an error from the app saying it couldn't connect to routers, but the Internet was working properly so I didn't worry about. About two weeks later I did a speed test and noticed my speed was very low. Decided to run setup again, this time app connected properly. speed was very fast. Not sure if I'd recommend this item, seems to basically work as my old 4 year old router. However, having two routers instead of one does expand my coverage, so I'm basically happy.

Great mesh system. Upgraded to support my gigablast internet and it doesnt disappoint. Really easy set up process as well

I had mine for 2 years, and still no issues like how the satellite has ethernet ports in the back cause i work from home and the modem is not in the office so i can direct connect to the satellite with no issue can still get the same speeds. Its expensive but trust me it worth every penny. Also the setup was simple.

I get the exact same speeds at the satellite as if I were hardwired in. Just for reference my max internet provider speed is 400MB. Fantastic router system. There is one caveat to this. The setup was really really bad. I was not able to use the mobile app for initial setup and had to run setup through the online web app. Also I had issues with my work VPN on first setup and had to do a full reset of the entire system and do it over to correct this issue. After a second full clean setup everything works great! I came from using the google nest mesh network and would recommend this over that for sure.

Netgear does a great job of making setup simple. However, using an iPhone with iOS14 causes an issue during setup because of the 'Private Address' setting being turned on by default on every network an iPhone connects to. This is not Netgear's fault, hence why I gave the 5 star rating. I live in a 2 floor condo, the devices upstairs connected to the Satellite node and devices downstairs connected to the Main node. Devices on the second floor perform much better, no lag, and nodes downstairs perform well.

I had used another whole house solution before changing over to Netgear Orbi, it was the ASUS Mesh system. ASUS worked amazingly and there was no trial for the network security (it was free for life) unlike Netgear Orbi has (30-day trial then pay). Unfortunately, the ASUS Mesh system after a firmware update broke and online support could not get it to restore. Long story there, I kept at it (resetting to factory default over and over again) and eventually it worked again. When I would do a speed test wired would show the expected 1GB but WiFi would only show half the speed expected. Called support again, they said it must be the internal antenna going bad. I bought another ASUS set (I needed something as I work from home) because the beginning with the ASUS Mesh was a wonderful experience. This second set did the same thing... that is a ton of money for something that is not working correctly. Yesterday, I installed/configured my Netgear Orbi system. I chose this system because I am a fan of the gaming and higher end network gear from Netgear for over 20 years (I work in IT) and after research on this mesh system there has been high praise reviews. I can only hope/pray that my experience with the Netgear Orbi will be as good as the years I have been able to depend reliably on Netgear products. So far, so good! This is covering my entire house (around 26K sqft, two floors, wood construction) with excellent WiFi signal strength.

Honestly I tried many brands and types of mesh systems and nothing is better than Orbi. I tried eero 6, Google mesh 3 pack and always I have issues at home, getting disconnected all the time. Finally I found one mesh system that give me 200 mbps in the entire house and with no issues. The connection is very stable, no dead spots anymore and full and fast connection. It is expensive but worth it. The app is easy to use with some bugs but not a big deal.
