Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

I had a Google mesh router system, then an ASUS router, now the Netgear Orbi system. the signal from this Orbi is so strong and fast that I don't even need to use the satellite. Across a 2500 square foot home, my signal is as fast and strong, three rooms, 100 ft., through two concrete walls away as it is at the base station. And for the first time, I set it up myself, without any problems.

I was using a regular WiFi single point router with a 500mbps internet and we have computers and other items that need internet all over the house. One of my computers which is the furthest from where we have the router the fastest I got once was a little over 100mbps but since setting up the Orbi system, that same computer and everything I’ve been able to test in the house has had speeds of 450mbps and up.

Set up this router & satellite for 2,500 square foot rural library. It provides great coverage for both staff & public access computers, including a separate guest network for patrons who bring in their own portable devices. It provides super fast coverage for the entire library.

I had an Orbi system I was replacing. I plugged the new one in and in just a few minutes it was up and connected. I named it the same as my last one and something unexpected happened. All my wireless devices instantly connected. No having to go to each device(40+) and set them back up. Great speeds and no issues whatsoever. So glad I upgraded.

This device was purchased after my very good Synology router got fried by a lightning strike. Strengths: good coverage, especially with the satellite Weaknesses: VERY poor software support. Everything is dependent on the app for setup. The web site orbilogin.net goes to a page which leads you in circles trying to get to a web-based management page instead of the phone app. The phone app is fine for very course management of the device, but there are so many settings which are not available on it. Expensive parental controls which must be purchased separately and do no more than my Synology came with. A real waste. Cannot use the device as an access point for anything but Netgear products. I have gone back to Synology. So much better user interface!

I just replaced my Xfinity XFi modem/router with a Nighthawk CM1200 modem and this as my new primary router. Wow! The results were simply amazing. On my gigabit internet, my wired speeds increased from ~600mbps to 950mbps and wifi speeds increased from ~350mbps to... wait for it... 950mbps! I got the exact same speeds on Wifi as hardwiring to Ethernet (tested on PC, phone, and laptop). Simply amazing. And setup was a breeze!

The Orbi AX4200 system is like Unified Field system of wifi. No more going from one part of the house or property and waiting for your phone or tablet reconfigure to a different wifi network. These AX4200 are powerful wifi 6 and ONE network! Easy to set up too, just follow the setup directions get the Orbi app and you are rolling. My one complaint is that netgear has not come out with a wifi 6 modem to replace the AC1900 modem.

Netgear tech solves the signal issues in my home

My previous Netgear (AC1900) had been working great and although signal strength was low at the far end of the house we weren’t seeing any connection issues. Once we added a few more wireless devices and our family of 5 was all at home for work and school, the Zoom freezes and signal drops were becoming a problem even after upgrading to 500mb internet service and new modem. I jumped at a Deal of the Day to grab a high-end, triband router from LinkSys but it’s signal was weaker in many areas of my house and even after borrowing a friend’s RE9000 extender the signal improved but the speed (checked with 2 different apps) wasn’t better. I returned the Linksys and spent a little more on the Orbi. Right out of the box the signal was better throughout most of the house with only the main router and once the satellite was connected the signal was strong everywhere and speeds tested out high, too. The app is pretty good and easily lets you edit connected devices so you can name them what you want and even disconnect any from the internet if you wanted to. The only issue I’ve seen with the app is that it’s speed check only worked the first day, since then it tells me that it can’t connect and I need to reboot the router but since all of our devices are working fine and those other speed apps I used before were working I just didn’t bother with apps’ test. I think this router is well worth the money. House is 12yrs, ~3000sqft, 3 floors (finished basement) with router on one end of main floor and satellite at about center of main floor.

Love this mesh system. My old system had a hard time reaching the far end of my home and my home is not that large. Total length of my home is roughly 150 linear ft and the old router was closer to the front but would never reach the back. This mesh system is a champ and is handling several streaming devices and gamers at the same time. I would definitely recommend this to friends.
