Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

    Easy reliable WiFi

I live in a old 1500sf townhouse with plaster and brick walls. My old router just couldn't cut it anymore. I pay for 200mbps but was only getting 50ish in my office that would sometimes drop completely. In addition, the amount of smart devices I have was slowing down my overall network. After setting this up with the satellite in my office I get a solid 230mbps wirelessly throughout my home and it does not loose signal. Granted I do have a wifi 6 capable laptop and phone which helps. Overall, the price of this is a bit much but with the black friday sale and knowing I'm future proofing myself it seems worth it. Also, I had no issue connecting devices specifically requiring a 2.4 connection. Orbi just does it for you. Finally, this is the easiest router I have ever set up! It took way more time to reconnect my 30+ smart devices as I chose a new name and password for increased security. My parents also have an Orbi system and I can control both systems from the same app remotely which is great. Very simple app with lots of easy to use tools I didn't know I needed. If you can afford to buy this I recommend it highly!

This orbi system is by far the easiest to set up and work with although it does not work with the orbi app after initial install like the standard orbi system however it does come with 30 days of armor which is a good feature could cause some trouble with smart TVs that collect your data when connected to wifi

We have only had this for a few weeks but it was easy to setup and i love the all. I can control all of it from my phone. We live in a rural area so our internet is slow but i can pause the wifo to specific devices so that i can have faster internet to what we are using.

The addition of the NetGear Orbi system has been great. It was very simple to setup and start using. The overall price was only that of three months of the Cox Panoramic system (which never did work like they said it would) and covers way more square footage. I’m truly glad that we purchased this product.

Recently upgraded my wifi router to the AX form factor. Set up was not bad just have to be patient and go step by step. Once set up you can notice a huge difference. Streaming in 4k little to no buffering at all. Great for home security live stream doesn't slow down and streams are clear

More than doubled our download speed compared to our 5 year old Netgear Nighthawk 7300. Was getting average download of 80 Mbps now we're getting 200+ Mbps. We have cinderblock walls and this seems to work well with that issue. This Orbi is covering a single story house about 2,400 Sqft.

Very easy to set up mesh network, but also allows for advanced setting control like with traditional routers. Signal is great throughout the entire house. I wish it were possible to dictate which nodes a device can connect to, and at what bandwidth. But that is a relatively minor issue.

    Excellent for an older house

We live in an older, 1930s home. However, one that has CenturyLink Fiber. I'm a networking geek, it's a hobby but not a career for me. I have a OPNsense box as my main firewall, but since OPNsense doesn't really do Wi-Fi, we need a Wi-Fi solution. Drilling holes to add Ethernet was a no-go for us so we can't do something like UniFi. Previously, we used using Huawei (yes the banned Chinese company) Wi-Fi AX as repeaters along with powerline adapters and while it worked in an apartment, it doesn't work in a old home like ours, it was slow and unreliable. And don't even think about using the CenturyLink Gateway. Enter the Orbi and WOW. Our home is ~2500 square feet but being an old home means we need a more powerful Wi-Fi than newer homes need. On the Huawei setup, we only got 30-50 Mbps upstairs and 10-20 Mbps on the top floor. On the Orbi, we get 250-300 Mbps consistently. If you're questioning whether to invest in a mesh setup: unless you are willing to add Cat5/6 drops to each room, DO IT.

The Netgear Orbi is SO EASY to set up, and with the Orbi app, you will know what devices are connected as well as your internet speed. I searched to find a great price, and Best Buy had it. Not only the best price, but curbside pick up as well. I highly recommend Best Buy and Netgear Orbi.

One of the best routers on the market. Solves a lot of issues should you be using the standard equipment the provider offers. Although a little on the expensive side, you will be more than happy you chose this.

Upgraded to Fiber and needed WiFi 6 to make things move. Easy to setup and allows customer configurations. When from 160 MPS on wireless to 1.2Gig. Range is improved two devices cover 4000 sf home no problems. With extra security with armor it's a great addition.

I've only had it two days but it made a huge difference. Full signal throughout the house and I don't even have the satellite hooked up, just the router. 2,500 Sq ft split level with orbi router set up in center of basement. I can also walk about 40 to 50ft out in to the yard and still have signal. Amazing range.

Large 2.4G and 5G coverage area. One unit upstairs near the back of the house and the other downstairs near the front of the house covers our 10,000 sq. ft. lot, plus across the street and to the other side of our neighbors houses in front. Our phones connect to the Wi-Fi before we get into the driveway. I haven't been able to check the full range in the back yard. It's nice to do one setup that provides both 2.4G and 5G connections using one SSID and one password. A frequency mix of 20 devices are automatically connected to the 2.4G or 5G by the Orbi system with just the one SSID and password.

The Orbi mesh system works as advertised. The signal I’m getting is so extensive that I now receive it in my car in the parking garage of my condo two floors down. I don’t lose signal until I pull onto the street to drive away. No more deadzones in my condo.

I’ve always suffered when i’m in my room because the wifi never reached my room so i would have to switch to my phone internet. Luckily i’ve saved up to buy this beauty. The set up was easy and now i’m enjoying full speed of our wifi in my room!! The design of this product is sleek too. A good investment to spend on.
