Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

This Orbi has been lightning fast throughout my 1920’s lathe and plaster walled 3-level home. Finally getting the full benefit of the fiber installed a couple years ago. Simple setup through the app too.

I had so many devices on my network that I decided to give Orbi a try. It worked great. Not only are all my devices working better, but the range has been extended as well to my front and backyards. Exceeded my expectations.

I used to have the google mesh system but started having issues. After doing some research I switched to the Orbi and couldn’t be happier, the WiFi speed more than doubled and I haven’t had a single problem

Originally purchased the eero system but it kept dropping the wireless signal. Even though this has one less satellite, it has much better coverage and never drops the signal! We have over 60 devices bd have no issues!

Note: we only have 14 devices (with at most 3-5 devices active at time) on our network including wired so if you have ATT I highly recommend adding these routers if you are having similar concerns.

    RBK752 software problems.

Mixed thoughts. The RBK752 provides better wifi coverage and speed compared to ISP provided router, but the IOS software app for controlling the units is buggy. Did not notice any past reviewers complaining about the IOS app. Not sure if this a recent problem caused by IOS 14.x release. Initial start of IOS app showed all the connected devices, then started showing less and less devices. The feature to Pause service to a device did not stop the device from send/receiving internet services (I tried to use this as a Parental control). The admin software using a browser keeps disconnecting after a few minutes of inaction. No way to adjust this time. Found this complaint goes as far back as 2018. I wanted to research a setting before making the change and repeatedly had to login back into the web admin page. Using the blocking function through the web connection will stop a device from connecting to the internet, but the unblocking device did not immediately restore services when I tried it. I did panic when internet service was not immediately restored after unblocking the device. Not sure what finally restored service (recycle power on device, sync button on Orbi), but it did take a few minutes of panic before it did work. Viewing connected devices via the web browser also does not show all connected devices. Showed 3 and then latter back to 8, but never showed all devices connected (should have been 12). IMO, the ISP provider's router software control is easier to use than the Orbi software. No parental controls support, my bad for not doing better job researching. The Netgear web site does not show Circle parental control support for the RBK752 and there mention of support ending for some Circle apps. Confusing. I have the internet service provider router/modem. When connecting the Orbi rbk752 to the new system the installation info is not very clear on what to do or expect. IMO the info provided does not clearly address having to keep the internet providers equipment and accessing the new equipment. I guess providing general guidelines may be beyond their capabilities due to all the different equipment used by internet providers. Have to search internet for this type of info. Will wait to see if software update becomes available in the next week or so, otherwise will most likely return the equipment.

Once I got everything set up system works great! Getting everything setup was another story. Ran into a few snags getting system to sync. I answered that I would recommend this to a friend, but honestly I'm not sure. Set up was a pain in the butt, but once it's up and running I love it!

Easy to connect to our wifi network and immediately took care of the weak signal we had been getting in my wife's office about 60 feet away from the modem. Also strengthened our signals throughout the house.

I had purchased 3 different routers before the Orbi and they didn’t achieve my expectations in coverage. Once I purchased the Orbi I had no issue with getting perfect signal throughout my house. Best purchase I have ever made.

Great coverage for a two story house, bit of a pain on set up. But once it finally worked, it has been miles better than the last router. No more stopping to buffer or lost connections.

I love this system. It is so easy to configure. Even the more advanced things like reserving IPs is simple to do. Netgear has won me over. My whole network is Netgear now. I could not be happier with my purchase.
