Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

Great mesh router system
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a 6 year old Netgear R7000 with the Orbi AX4200. WOW! The speed and coverage are amazing. The setup was easy. With the old router was only getting 370 down, with the Orbi the speed is 450 and higher down with Comcast Blast. The only thing I really don't like is the Orbi app. It crashes quite frequently in my 3 year old Samsung S9+. But this isn't really a problem because you can access all the routers settings using a web browser. It was well worth the upgrade.

Great coverage and fast
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been scouting out a new router for about a year now. I’ve always been a fan of Netgear products, and knew I wanted to upgrade to WiFi 6, so in my mind there was no other choice. I’ve had it for about a week now. The setup was easy with the Orbi app, and the coverage is unreal. I love on an acre of property and my house is towards the front. Even when I walk all the way out back, the service is still great. Between the coverage and the speeds, you can’t beat it. This router is a must have.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this mesh system because my previous wifi box was to slow for the internet speed we have. We also were not getting the 5ghz connection farther in our house away from the box. Let's cover the good...set up was easy. Didn't take me long to get it setup. Solid speed and a good amount of wired ports. We have our main smart TV and Xbox connected directly to the box with cat6 cables. The app is good but with one issue. It seems like everyone has a different version. So if you look online for help it's difficult to figure out why it doesn't do something. My example is the parental control. They sent me email advertisements saying to set up parental controls but I had no icon in the app for it. Finally after hours of research I found out you need to pay a fee for that. This is my biggest issue with the system and something everyone should know before you purchase a Orbi mesh system....you can't force a device to connect to a specific satellite. This is close to being a fatal flaw for the system. The main Orbi comes up first and if something can connect it will no matter how solid the connection is. I have a Orbi satellite 2-feet from a TV in my bedroom with a Roku connected. The Roku connects to the main router and not the satellite. This causes buffering and poor video quality. The only way to fix this is to unplug the Roku and plug it back in. This will allow it to connect to the satellite instead of the main Orbi. But if the system runs a test or has to be restarted it reconnects to the main unit and you have to unplug the Roku again. Really a terrible design. It would be nice if just once these companies would trust its customers to setup the device to our own unique circumstances. This is a huge issue for me. It's upsetting because they were very close to making a great unit and fell on their face at the last second. Maybe they will make better software in a later version and allow us to permanently configure specific devices to connect to specific satellites.

Great upgrade for home mesh network!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from Mesh Force M3 system with multiple dots. After a month of use, the Orbi system is incredible. No more complaints from the family on slow internet and dropped connections. Our two-story house is approx 3900 sq ft and have the Orbi and Satellite across the house on different floors, works great for coverage and speed. Good admin app and easy to setup. Wish I would've bought the Orbi before purchasing and adding additional M3 dots 6 months ago.

Great Performance
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am truly impressed with the quality and performance of this mesh system!! I was skeptical about good coverage going from a two antenna system to a one antenna setup. To my surprise, this setup not only gave me way better coverage, but also much better speed and performance!! I almost purchased another antenna before I had this system setup. We'll, glad I didn't because it was not needed!! I almost upgraded to the AX6000, but I don't see the point right now!!

Keep all the functionality promises out of the bo
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptional performances. Never dropped signal. Excellent coverage on my 3 levels Townhouse. Before I had very scarce signal in my basement even with nighthawk router. Now I have it not only there with pretty high speed (200 Mbit) usually but it covers all my backyard, ideal for my firestick mounted on a projector. I am really happy. Also the software got improved, but the app is not there just yet. Needs improvement.

Orbi Amazing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow just upgraded to this system. Unbelievable speed and easy set up/ well credit to Mike Mue on YouTube for walkthrough on ISP settings- minor hassle for non techs but he makes it easy. With 1000 mbps coming in the house , this orbi easily handles traffic . Blazing speed. Must buy for the right situation in your house. I previously had two nighthawk routers, upstairs and downstairs, they did their best but can’t touch this current hardware.

Great system! Orbi WiFi 6 mesh ax4200 3 pack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a good system to extend WiFi throughout the house and in the lower garage area. We found a 3 pack of the Orbi tri band mesh system and gave it a shot. Wow! Just wow! The setup was very easy and user friendly. Linking the router to my service providers equipment was easy and the pair of the satellites was a no brainer. The whole system works great and there is no more WiFi dead zones throughout the house both upstairs and downstairs. This is a good system for those wanting to use their own router and extenders(satellites) that daisy chain together to create great coverage.

Amazing Wi-Fi System!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Might be the best Wi-Fi system. My Orbi took a couple minutes to set up, but was very straight forward and easy. I have been getting great coverage and really good speeds. My favorite feature though is the generous amount of Ethernet ports. Orbi has way more Ethernet ports than competitors which is super nice. The Orbi app is also very user friendly and nice to use.

Problem solver
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Orbi mesh wifi 6 is dynamite. This system has solved my issue with weak signal in certain parts of my house. I now have excellent signal on all devices. I have also seen an increase of speed from the Nighthawk router that this replaced. Set up was a breeze and by using the same ID and password I was previously using, all my devices connected automatically without having to go through and reset them. I do recommend the Orbi while home mesh wifi 6 system.

Simply amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Orbi MeSH products are simply amazing. We tried extenders and such without much success. Once we invested in the Orbi product, everything came together. I use the base router and 2 satellites to cover over 7000 sq ft. At the furthest point on the opposite wing of the house I get a streaming signal barely degraded from that of the Ethernet base. Easy to set up with the app, Orbi is expensive, but very well worth the cost. Highly recommended!

Finally, a Great Router by NetGear!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the system and set it up . Using the app to set up was a pain. Just did not seem to work right (i.e. at all). Followed the prompts on my computer and had it setup within 3 minutes... so... use the computer or have a steady supply of an alcoholic beverage nearby and don't make any other plans for the day. Bought this to replace my old Netgear router which seemed to have the range of a turtle throwing a baseball. I have a 5,000 sq ft property and this system covers it all with no problem. I was truly impressed with the range this thing has and how fast it is. I get downloads over 700 mps at the farthest point which is awesome. After upgrading, I could not believe what I was missing with my old router. Streaming platforms have ZERO issue. Where I had a buffering problem, its gone. The funny part is that has taken a few days to get used to. When you are so used to having to wait, it is weird when you don't have to! The only issue I had with the setup was devices that only use 2.4 ghz. I had to find an old iPad and downgrade the router to only see 2.4 ghz to set things up. It was a breeze once I found out why my devices were connecting (and after a couple tempter tantrums). Anyway, this is a great router. Cost a lot, yes.... but it is of great quality and I really wish I would have bought it sooner to save me some headaches. You will not regret it if you buy it. I have a feeling this is the router that will last a long time.

Solid all around
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid and easy to setup. It just works right out of the box and I didn't have to tinker much with it to get it up to speed. Handles everything in my smart home just fine. Came from a competitor that starts with EE and couldn't be happier. The speeds are consitent and it blankets my entire home yard.

Netgear Orbi is outstanding...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my old AX8 router gave up the ghost, I selected the Orbi WiFi6 system with a satellite. It gives me total coverage of my home (3K sq. ft. 2-story) and has improved my connect speeds for all 16 plus items connected to the network. The Orbi has operated flawlessly and the app and Web interface allowed me to easily manage port forwarding, etc. The app made initial setup a breeze. I highly recommend this system.

Big upgrade from Apple Airport
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the latest Apple AirPort Extreme and Express in my 3100 square foot home. Lately with all the connected devices it really started to bog. During the state shelter in place we had up to 4 members of the family on work and school video calls. Our network wasn’t cutting it. The first hour with the Orbi was noticeably different. Now after a couple weeks with lightning fast speeds for our 4kOLED, security cams, home theater, Apple TV’s, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and all with superb extended coverage in every area... I’m more than thrilled. It just works

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really good mesh Wi-Fi system. We've had ours for going on three months now and have experienced nothing but fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Setup was easy and the app is decent, though it does lack parental controls. A few things to keep in mind when considering this rather pricey product: First, remember that your speeds are limited by what you're getting via internet service and by what your modem can handle. You can't get 1000 Mbps WiFi if you're only paying for 200 Mbps for internet service, or if your modem can only do as fast as 500 Mpbs. We are paying for 600 Mbps internet speed and have a modem rated for 1000 Mbps; dozens of Wi-Fi speed tests over the past couple months have consistently been between 400 and 700 Mbps. Second, be aware that the marketed coverage (5k sq ft) is negatively affected by obstructions, including walls. It is a good idea to "size up" your system well beyond your house's footprint. to account for obstructions and if you want to get some signal outside in your yard, off course. Our house is about 2k sq ft but with lath/plaster walls and dozens of devices (computers, phones, security cameras, tablets, watches, smart speakers, TVs, etc.), this product has been right in that sweet spot where it seems neither excessive nor inadequate. Last, each unit (router and satellite) are quite large. We came from the original Google Mesh system and these are much larger. Not a problem, just something to note.

Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I’m really enjoying this Mesh Wi-Fi system. I have 3,500 sq. ft. house and the coverage is great. It can even reach to the end of my driveway with no apparent loss of signal strength. Pretty easy setup and the app is very user friendly as well. I like the ability to “turn off” certain items from connecting to Wi-Fi temporarily…great feature for kids.

Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this mesh WiFi got these and instantly noticed a difference in my Wi-Fi I pay for 400Mbps and I constantly average 482-490 Mbps download and always 20Mbps upload and I haven’t had any drops in my connection ever since I got this up and running I have a PS5, 2 PS4 Pro, IPAD, 3 IPhones, 3 Smart TV’s, 2 Labtops, 2 Androids, and a Tablet and this Router and Satellite handles all of them with no problem and I like that I’m future proofing myself with the WiFi 6 and also the level of protection this gives me without me having to lift a finger definitely worth the money and very happy with my purchase also the setup only took me about 10-15min to get everything up and running a few more things to mention I get WiFi all over my house in and out no dead zones and I’m hard wired in with my PS5 and PS4 Pro and the speeds are phenomenal it only takes minutes to download games now which my old WiFi router it used to take me hours to download games and updates and last thing to mention make sure to have your router and satellite spaced out evenly between your house to get the best connection based on your house I don’t know the exact size of my home but it’s a 1 level and my router and satellite are spaced out pretty evenly 1 in the living room and 1 in my room and I don’t have any dead zones in my house but for anybody who decides to purchase this router you won’t go wrong with your decision and I’m sure you will love it to.

Orbi by Netgear it’s worth the upfront pricing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect for my two story digital household. It took care of the dead spots that some of the bedrooms were experiencing. The WiFi coverage is more then enough to cover my smart lights in the yard and interior cameras of my detached garage. Easy setup through the Orbi App and speeds were immediately better then I was getting from the Xfinity Xfi modem/router.
