Orbi AX4200 Mesh System

Problem was I was changing my network name during the set up process which it allows but it causes a problem so I called netgear support and he walked me through step by step and told me to wait to change my network name until after I was completely set up. He staying on the phone the entire time and was really nice about it.

Amazingly fast!

Can’t believe the HUGE difference this made over my Google Routers and the new Spectrum Advanced WiFi routers. Definitely worth the price! Also, very easy to set up. Although they are a lot bigger than my Google Routers they aren’t an eye sore.

Fast router but lacks configurable options

I did not like that I couldn’t separate out the WiFi bands. Had issues with some devices in my home dropping from the network frequently. Contacted Netgear support and they said they are aware of this but had no plans for changing it. My new router WiFi 6 router ASUS XT8 gives you the option of separating the bands or having one SSID and letting your device decide which band to connect too. The only good thing I can say about the netgear orbi is it’s fast.
