Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

I had the latest Apple AirPort Extreme and Express in my 3100 square foot home. Lately with all the connected devices it really started to bog. During the state shelter in place we had up to 4 members of the family on work and school video calls. Our network wasn’t cutting it. The first hour with the Orbi was noticeably different. Now after a couple weeks with lightning fast speeds for our 4kOLED, security cams, home theater, Apple TV’s, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and all with superb extended coverage in every area... I’m more than thrilled. It just works

Never really cared for the mesh system, thought an extender would be just fine. However, the mesh system doesn’t require you to change wifi it automatically connects to the one with a better range. I may have over done it with a 1,500 square foot home as this was advertised to be for 5,000. No drops and great for gaming. Should have bought it long ago!

Love this mesh WiFi got these and instantly noticed a difference in my Wi-Fi I pay for 400Mbps and I constantly average 482-490 Mbps download and always 20Mbps upload and I haven’t had any drops in my connection ever since I got this up and running I have a PS5, 2 PS4 Pro, IPAD, 3 IPhones, 3 Smart TV’s, 2 Labtops, 2 Androids, and a Tablet and this Router and Satellite handles all of them with no problem and I like that I’m future proofing myself with the WiFi 6 and also the level of protection this gives me without me having to lift a finger definitely worth the money and very happy with my purchase also the setup only took me about 10-15min to get everything up and running a few more things to mention I get WiFi all over my house in and out no dead zones and I’m hard wired in with my PS5 and PS4 Pro and the speeds are phenomenal it only takes minutes to download games now which my old WiFi router it used to take me hours to download games and updates and last thing to mention make sure to have your router and satellite spaced out evenly between your house to get the best connection based on your house I don’t know the exact size of my home but it’s a 1 level and my router and satellite are spaced out pretty evenly 1 in the living room and 1 in my room and I don’t have any dead zones in my house but for anybody who decides to purchase this router you won’t go wrong with your decision and I’m sure you will love it to.

Perfect for my two story digital household. It took care of the dead spots that some of the bedrooms were experiencing. The WiFi coverage is more then enough to cover my smart lights in the yard and interior cameras of my detached garage. Easy setup through the Orbi App and speeds were immediately better then I was getting from the Xfinity Xfi modem/router.

I bought it for a house of 4,000 sq ft. Strong signal covers all rooms including the basement. Speed at around 950MB up/down-load. Very easy to set up per the Orbi App from my cell phone. Also subscribed the Armor for cybersecurity service. This is a value-added service as one of the key reasons on my choice of Netgear! Very happy to use it so far.

    Mom Approved Wi-Fi

We limped our old router through an entire year of virtual school (three kids… four schools… no siblings could be seen or heard on another’s camera or mic… fun times…). This year even with the kids back in person (yay!!) I was NOT willing to deal with spotty Wi-Fi in any area of our house ever again. We did the usual before we bit the bullet … research it. Read the reviews. Basically I wanted something I could install while guzzling mom juice after the darlings were snoozing away. Something reliable. This fit that bill. Set up was easy overall. A note letting us know that the blue (great signal) light on the satellite doesn’t stay on longer than the initial three minutes would have been nice but overall it was legit step by step how to install thru the app. It had pictures which is awesome for when the mom brain … or juice … kicks in. As for speed? I made no changes to our plan and yet these two small beasts managed to triple our speed and provide reliable connections in even those far far away bedrooms. It manages to keep all 30+ devices running full speed and without any freezing. Overall 10 out of 10. Would recommend especially if you can snag it on sale.

I was using Nighthawks before and liked those but had frequent signal drops of the extender. The Orbi system has given me zero drops since I set them up. Speeds are coming in faster than I have ever had. It was very easy to set up and user friendly. I cannot recommend the system enough. I have 1 main router and 2 satellites.

A family member recommended this product to me so I was pretty confident in the product and its capability since that family member (who has a 5,000 sf home) is a bit of tech geek and is in the communications industry. My ISP tech also recommended a mesh router system stating that their standard router was typically sufficient for a 1 bedroom apartment. I never realized that and for years I've been dealing with slow internet issues!! I purchased 2-pack since I have a 1,800 sf home and felt this would meet and exceed my needs if in the future I were to move. Upon unboxing the Orbi, the directions and downloading of the App were straightforward. Hit a little bit of a snag upon setup; however, after rebooting (following the troubleshooting guidelines) they quickly synced with my home ISP and my internet was up and running. I had everything up and running within 15 minutes. I've had these for close to a month now and despite some minimal ISP interruptions here and there (Spectrum), internet speeds are lightning fast, I have no issues with my teleconferencing in working from home and the Orbi has exceeded my expectations. This is what my internet speeds are supposed to be, no more relying upon the cheap router's that are provided by my ISP!

I have an L-shaped house with wireless devices all over, from basement to top floor, to the in-law apt. I had a couple of wireless routers in the house and things were clumsy with connecting to the closest access point. (One of the routers was so old the year could not be set higher that 2012.) Started over from scratch with this two-pack and now have great coverage throughout my house and yard. It was easy to setup. The most tedious part was getting all the IOT devices moved to the new network and that is more about finding the instructions for that smart dimmer switch or webcam that you set up and have not touched in over a year. The good news is that I no issues getting my 2.4Ghz-only devices on the new network. I did not have to "go to the edge of your coverage area where only 2.4 signals exist" like the instructions for the Google/Nest mention. The web interface and the app seem intuitive enough. A lot of folks mention it is a pricey solution, but it seems the Orbi seems to be on sale often. If you need more than one access point in your home or business, and want something that is simple to admin, simple to use and just works, this is a pretty sweet setup.

This mesh router has made a massive difference for my parents in their large sprawling ranch style home. They used to have spots where they would get very degraded or no signal at all. Now the whole house has wifi without a problem. It just works and the setup was a breeze which is important as my parents struggle with tech.

Good product. It’s easy to set up, the app essentially does all the work for you. I have the main router near my cable box in my living room which accounts for the majority of my connections. I have the satellite in my finished basement which picks up the rest. I have xfinity gigabit internet and I consistently pull between 400-700 Mbps download with the Orbi system on every device. Peak load was over 850 download once. I have a PC without a wifi card hardwired into the basement satellite (so not a true hardwire into the main router), and I’m still pulling over 400 mbps down at any given time over the air. My one gripe is that because it is capable of WiFi 6 and supporting up to 2 gbps download, you need to ensure you have a modem that is capable of pushing that load, but that’s not netgear’s fault, that’s the cost of technology. That adds another $100 minimum. With the Orbi and accompanying net gear modem, I was investing just over $650 and I’m honestly glad I did. I haven’t once had to restart the router or unplug it for any reason. It’s a high cost of entry but if you have gigabit internet through anyone but AT&T (sorry AT&T, but please let people use their own equipment without needing to go into bridge mode), this is the product for you.

Awesome had to set the router and satellite next to windows but I have a metal roof and for it to work is amazing. And it is FAST! 450 download mbps 23 upload. Easy to set up. I did have to factory reset it once but it was my fault and easy to fix And it's a bit expensive but I would do it again

After trying two different mesh systems with very average results, we turned to the Orbi. The Orbi was extremely easy to setup, the app was simple to use, and most importantly, it performed! More than twice the speed and range of other systems. I would recommend this Mesh system for anyone!

5 Stars, went from having a Nighthawk R7000 to an Orbi AX4200 and am very pleased with this product. Coverage is awesome and switching from one satellite to mother is very seamless. Am able to Connect my NAS and stream my 4K movies without any issues/lag. Internet speed maxed out to what my subscription is suppose to be at with Spectrum Cable.

Funny thing I had to buy this since the Optimum router couldn't give me good signal or would drop signal when connected due to my new A90J tv being on a different floor. My old Samsung from 2013 didn't have an issue with wifi connection to Optimum router. So go figure. Now I get really good connection thru Orbi. Sony Bravia Core needs 80gb of speed to run and I get it thru Orbi so I am happy. Set up was decent. I think it took 15-20 min. Plug and play for everything once you download the app. The app is pretty cool. I can see all connected devices and if its on 2.4 or 5. You can not manually decide which device you want on which band. I guess Netgear knows best which to assign where. The air freshner look is what people hate about it. I hid mine the satallite behind a curtain and the router is partial blocked by my mounted tv and tv stand sound bar. I set up my network using the same network name as my Optimum router with same PW so I wouldn't have to change all my devices. If your Roku has issues connecting like mine did, I just did a factory reset and it connected afterwards.

My niece just got high speed internet and wanted to cover more of the house. This covers a large ranch house very well and even was able to get coverage down to the lake and dock. Cell phones do not work well in this area but with this device no problem having a connection. System was easy to setup and is fast.

My previous Netgear equipment which was 11 years old finally gave up so it was time to upgrade. My family had grown in that time and so has our equipment load of all things connected. I initially went to the store to purchase an entirely different model but when I saw the Orbi I got curious so stood in the isle doing some research. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but the setup was a breeze and so far coverage outstanding in my home across all devices. The app is well put together and functional and gives great visibility over connected devices.

I have done a speed test every in the house and I am getting the speed of internet in which I am paying for. The app for controlling each device is great especially for kids. This was my first mesh router system so I was hesitant, worried that they would not work the way I wanted. After setting them up and using them for a while, I have to say - I am thrilled! They were by far the easiest home network setup I've ever done and they've performed beautifully since then. No signal issues and I was able to remove a trio of LAN cables running in awkward places through my house without any loss of quality on the previously wired devices. The download speeds are not quite as blazing fast - but that is an issue with the wireless receivers in my devices, rather than the speed of the Orbi network.

So far so good. Had bought a ASUS router back in December and was always struggling with it staying connect to some of my devices. This mesh system connected easily and all my devices are working well with no disconnects, so far. Speed is excellent and love how it reaches all areas of my house.
