Customers are saying
Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

Speed,speed, and more speed.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a home with more than 2000 sq ft you are wasting money without this in your internet service. The difference in speed and strength is night and day. With 1gbps output from modem upstairs my man cave downstairs initially received a normal 45mbps. When adding this system normally receive 900-950mbps!

Pretty powerful home WiFi system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. The satellite is very finicky and if the power goes out then the satellite requires a reboot. Otherwise ok but I wish there was a better admin tool to inspect the satellite connection to devices. The one through the browser doesn’t stay up to date. Net gear keeps trying to sell me their service which is annoying. I opted to do the wired backhaul instead of the wireless backhaul

Work great after setup!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They’ve worked great once set up! Range is quite nice. Had some issues setting up and had to call customer service but they were extremely helpful. Ended up having to do the exact same steps I did the first time and it worked when on the phone with them. Don’t know what happened.

Performing Well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once set up, the Orbi system did the job it was proposed to do and filled the gap that we had in our house. We did have an initial problem when using the app to monitor the speed which required a factory reset to fix the issue. For some reason, after being able to check the speed, it no longer would do so.

Great upgrade to previous generation Orbi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the previous generations Netgear Orbi RBR50 and was starting to have issues when everyone was streaming something in the house. After purchasing the Orbi AX4200 that issue appears to have gone away. Another issue I was having with previous generation is the satellite would go offline and take the network down. These were on sale so I decided to purchase. No regrets so far.

Super Mesh!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can not believe the difference! AT&T had every opportunity to fix the problem. Try to solve it with repeaters plugged into walls all over. WiFi was horrible in our 2S house. Then 2 Orbis showed up and made life so much better. Getting consistent speeds throughout the house. Best money ever spent on tech.

MOST SOHOs don’t need a mesh network
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product is fine but it is completely overpriced. Also unnecessary unless you really have areas that do not get a signal.

Great router.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced old Eero that was dying and had no range. A lot nicer of an experience and more adjustability.

Needs work!!! Sorry for long review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from an Orbi AC2200 to an AC3000 back in January and was satisfied for the most part. Signal could have been better but it did the job. Thought I would test out wifi 6 because we moved to a new house that had an upstairs and with kids doing a lot of school from home, I needed a better service in the house. I stayed with Orbi for features such as backhaul and parental controls so I picked up the Orbi AX4200. I went with AT&T after the move for faster fiber service so I don't know if their gateway causes issues with this, but I had terrible service with the Orbi. It was a nightmare to setup and get to working properly. The signal was worse than my AC3000 and my google assistant wouldn't connect to it. Speeds were drastically changing and I had lots of lag while playing online (while wired to the Orbi). Devices struggled to remain connected, despite how close they were to the unit. Also, it seemed the Orbi couldn't really figure out which satellite to have devices connected to. It would connect to the furthest satellite which created a weak signal. As if it knew that would frustrate me and it did it on purpose!!! I was very unimpressed with this device so I switched to a Linksys MX10 Velop and have been much much more satisfied.

Powerful and Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m really happy with this purchase. I went from a router with dual bands and an extender with dual bands (4 networks!) to a single network blanketing my entire house with a strong WiFi signal and still have 2 ports for hardwired connections.

Lifesaver
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orbi is a lifesaver!!! Before the Orbi, we were using a modem/router provided by our internet provider and with 2 kids doing online schooling and me working from home, the wi-fi signal was not cutting it. Now with a new modem and the Orbi, everyone is happy and the wi-fi signal is excellent!!!!

Orbi for the Win!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Orbi system. I have one in our primary home and one in a vacation rental. Love how I can troubleshoot and manage from afar on both systems and barely ever run into issues that aren’t ISP based vs router based. Would definitely reco to anyone looking for a high quality mesh system!

Best Mesh Network by Netgear
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having so much problems with my ISP router and my network connection would be very slow during the prime hours. Once I upgraded to this NetGear I am getting almost twice the speed from my WiFi. Best Investnent I’ve ever made. I highly recommend this item.

There is no more slow speeds in my home. My home is mostly compose of kids and they use up a lot of the internet. Having multiple devices in one mesh system working so smoothly is beyond amazing. Excellent Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With a gig connection I went from wifi speeds no greater than 500 to around 800+. Nothing else has come close. Unless you have more than a gig connection or are regularly transferring large files between 2 computers over WiFi there's really no need to spend the money on the more expensive AX6000.
