Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

So the easy setup DID NOT work for me. Ran the start up 3 times before giving up and calling tech support. Took a while to get the tech online (They are BUSY!!!), but an hour later everything was setup. I could have taken off stars for the initial setup frustration but I am so happy with my Orbi that I just cannot justify it, only 5 will do. I have one main router and one Sat, 3 wired in on Router and 2 wired in on sat. The house is a 2 story, 3000 SF. Internet is a 400 MBPS and we are getting about 458 MBPS pretty much in the whole house, wired or wireless! Couple of places it drops to 250-300 MBPS. So I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. There is a lot more to the orbi app but I will leave it up to you to find out, its a must have for your house if you are not using some type of a mesh system... go get it...

    Functionally great, lousy installation process

Functionally, this system is excellent - great coverage, fast, seamless moving room to room. The problem is NETGEAR's setup process: I had frequent timeouts when the NETGEAR registration server wouldn't respond. Spent hours trying to set it up. Eventually I had to open a ticket with NETGEAR. With a ticket number, I had to call the help line. At that point it took 2 days to get someone to troubleshoot with me. Once on the line, 90 minutes to troubleshoot before it completed setup. The install process would be much easier without being forced through the Orbi mobile app. Just let experienced users access the webapp management pages from a browser. Oh, problem there, too. The router is very slow to load pages. IMO, NETGEAR has some work to do,

I had been looking at various upgrades and what to purchase because my home router wasn’t cutting it. Constantly dropping connections for some devices and slow speeds even though I pay for gig internet from Verizon. Best Buy had these on sale so I jumped at it. It was very simple to set up and it allowed me the get rid of the Verizon router and use just these plugged directly into my ONT. Speeds before were coming in way under the gig I pay for and with the upgrade I am now getting very close to full gig. With all of the devices I currently run on wifi, this is now a no brainer and should have upgraded earlier.

I have a 2 story house with 18 connected devices (TVs, laptops, tablets, & phones). I was using a plug in extender which worked well but would sometimes still have lag while Zooming or streaming downstairs, at the other end of the house. With the Orbi, I have excellent signal even outside. My modem and primary router are in the office upstairs at the front of the house. My 2nd unit is also upstairs in a bedroom at the other end of the house. I supposedly receive 1 gig speed internet from xfinity. I speed tested my connection in the backyard and it was still over 550 IN THE BACKYARD. I used to only get about 60 with the plugin extender. Definitely worth the money, especially with my children's home schooling over the past year.

    Netgear ORBI. - Buy This!!

We are very impressed and extremely satisfied with the Netgear ORBI Mesh Wi-Fi system! We always had trouble getting a Wi-Fi signal through our four thousand square-foot house. We had purchased a different brand of mesh system that had needed 7 satellite modules throughout the house and we still never got anywhere near the speed we were paying for and the WiFi signal would just randomly drop. After easily setting up the two module ORBI system, we consistently have extremely high speeds throughout the entire house and even outside! I could not recommend the Netgear ORBI WIFI system more highly. BUY THIS!!

I don’t normally write reviews but wow. This Mesh Router System is by far the best I’v ever owned. The speeds are out of this world. I have Xfinity and pay for 600 mbps. Everywhere I go in my house it’s a constant 575 mbps and sometimes over 600!! Perfect signal everywhere. Worth every penny. Buy it and don’t think twice. You won’t regret it.

We have a somewhat bigger house 3500 sq and not only was signal weak it’s constantly dropped us off. Once we installed this it instantly solved our issues. High speed throughout the house. Very easy set up

Setup was easy once I followed the instructions from Orbi rather than from Google fiber. Speeds seem to have doubled and wireless connection loss has been absent since connecting to the Orbi mesh system rather than the network box Google gave me.

My Orbi(s) are super fast!!! My setup is mostly for gaming with my gaming rig placed downstairs at the opposite end of a Cable modem and Orbi that’s wired, previously I had a repeater and ASUS router that I was happy with but it’s like this: you can always be happy with mediocre if you don’t know what good looks like. I say my setup is mostly for gaming but I have about 17 internet device connect at all times, 6 tvs 4 computers, tablets, cell phones. With all that being said I’ve yet to see this thing slow down, none of my tvs are buffering anymore and my alarm cameras load super fast now, and I’m gaming the wife is surfing, my son is gaming and there has not been one slow down. My service provider is spectrum on a 300g plan but I’ve seen download speeds as high as 520gps but avg around 460 gps… Although a bit pricey I’m truly happy with this purchase!!! Ps best router phone app I’ve seen.

I have Orbi for the past 2 years. First, I had Spectrum as my Internet Provider and the speed was 400 mbps, and Orbi went beyond expectations. Now, I have Xfinity as my Internet Provider and the speed is 800 mbps and Orbi is giving speeds between 700 mbps to 800 mbps. I have one Satellite that works great. All of my 17 devices stays connected. Wifi never dropped or anything like that. Just buy it without thinking a second thought. I know you will like it.

Needed an upgrade because my old Linksys wasn't slinging the signal far enough. Our home isn't that large, so the 2-pack was all we needed. I really like the features of WiFi 6. You get Ethernet speeds over WiFi. For your older devices, each node has Ethernet ports. I had an Xbox One that would always connect to the 2.4Ghz instead of the Wifi 5 signal. Also I had to enable the increased strength of the 2.4 band for my Rokus. That was the only two issues I ran into. Otherwise, they've been a worthy purchase!

First of all a whole house mesh system is the way to go. I've had Spectrum for my Internet, and before I installed the Netgear Orbi, I was getting about 50-60 Mbps. After installing Orbi, it went to 230 Mbps. This is the second Orbi I have purchased and I installed this one in my daughters house. We are getting 235 Mbps., also using Spectrum. In testing it at her house, the 235 was consistent in all areas of at the home (2200 square feet) with no drop off. The system has been very reliable in my home, set up is very easy, and the app for Orbi is comprehensive. It is a bit more expensive than some other whole house systems, but worth it in my opinion.

I had to find a better way to get better internet in my house. I use Xfinity and have used their pods which did not give me the best coverage that I needed for my 1700 square foot house. I have 6 pods and only got around 50Mps on a good day. With this product I’m now only using 2 and I get 250Mps throughout. Awesome product and easy install.

Picked this system up after a newly-installed fiber internet infrastructure was put in place in our neighborhood. This thing handles all of our devices (usually about 9 on any given day), plus visitors without bogging down A BIT, everywhere throughout the home. Love the guest WiFi, and setup was a breeze. The app is very user-friendly and keeps me on the up and up with settings reminders and suggestions. Very happy so far with the purchase!

We continually had problems with wifi extending all throughout our home from our internet carrier. They came out twice and said no issues with connection. We were paying for the fastest 1GB and had it drop, streaming kept buffering. They said to buy pods to extend and that was a waste of money. BUT....the last rep suggested we get something to extend the coverage to a more centrally located place in our home so we connected these by ethernet and now NO problems, fast speeds great connection anywhere in our home. I searched Consumer Reports and these were rated the absolute best! Best Buy price match and so very worth the money!!!

I have a lot of smart home devices. 48 in total. My old wifi router was fine but devices kept loosing signal. This mesh system has kept everything connected. It’s easy to set up and they are smaller than I thought they would be. Their slim design helps with not cluttering a tabletop or desk. I highly recommend these. I also noticed that there is a way to add another satellite for an additional 2,500 sq ft of coverage. So depending on the layout of your home these will do just fine. I get decent signal About 75 ft outside my stucco home. Something I prefer for security reasons. This doesn’t come with parental controls but you can pay for built in antivirus and antimalware.
