Kills your entire home camera system. Arlo only works on 2.4ghz, and older arlo Q models cannot work with this. Yes the WiFi is amazing, but seriously? Set up the ability to use home cameras without all the pain. 1000’s of reviews about this problem for years. I had hope it was different with this new model. It’s not

If you're thinking of buying these.... don't. What was probably a pretty good product originally has been ruined by bad product engineering and/or a lack of testing. I recently bought one of these Orbi mesh networks and they worked for less than an hour before becoming inaccessible. After troubleshooting them myself for hours, I tried to work with Netgear support and spent 3 hours with them, with no solution. Turns out, their newer firmware doesn't work and it turns these into very expensive paperweights. They don't know how long it's going to take them to fix the bugs in future software patches, but in the meantime, these issues impact a broad range of devices (hundreds of serial numbers), and they're all out in circulation! You may spend hundreds of dollars on something that doesn't work, and who knows if they'll just break them again later with other poorly developed firmware. (I mentioned the issues I was having to my boss and he said he actually had previously bought a Netgear mesh network and had to return it due to issues with functionality and performance, so apparently these issues aren't new, they're just much worse now.) It's one thing if a product doesn't work well, but they're charging a premium for these. I don't know whether these issues impact other models, but they're charging anywhere from $350 to the better part of $2k for these Orbi mesh networks they sell. If you want to justify that kind of price tag, especially in a time where so many people work from home and are dependent on stable and consistent network performance for their job, bricking their hardware through their own updates and not knowing how many days or weeks it's going to take them to fix them is unacceptable. Also, a supervisor said they'd call me back in an hour to follow up on this after we discussed replacement. That was almost two days ago, no call back. Avoid anything Netgear until they figure out how to do proper testing before releasing firmware to the public.
