Customers are saying
Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

Had it been on time and didn’t scream TAKE ME!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy shipping has gone downhill. To make it worse, when it did arrive it was clearly evident what was inside the dented box that looks like it was slammed around a million times. Great for thieves that see that on my front porch in plain daylight. Other than that, the product seems to function as advertised. Hopefully it will continue to work well. Netgear’s products always seem to be made well. Support is not the best, but set up is a breeze! Highly recommend- But you may want to pick up in store or get it from Amazon

Great product.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I were to review the performance only it would have been 5 stars. The performance has been great. The reason for giving 4 stars are all the features that require a paid service.

Netgear - Orbi AX 4200 Tri-Band Mish Wifi 6 System
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked well, however, I found it cumbersome to get the satellite connected and sometime the satellite did not reconnect if you lost power or moved it. Otherwise it worked well.

Lacking customization, abysmal app support
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product itself works fine. It's not spectacular but it works and coverage is decent. The problems are that a few much needed controls have been stripped away so you can't really customize your setup beyond the basics: no controlling whether your broadcast your SSID; no way to separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands (which can be a problem with some older devices); much is automated and cannot be adjusted, etc. Additionally, the app is, BY FAR, the worst app I have ever used; it freezes and crashed constantly and is unusable 90% of the time. Additionally, each update seems to somehow make things worse. The router is a C The app is an F-

I still like my old Orbi
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older generation of Orbi and it works great. Decided to give this new WiFi 6 a try. I am pretty disappointed. The setup is much harder than I thought. The app did not help. I had to use an actual laptop to fix the issue. It didn't reach as far as my old one does. I returned it.

Netgear Orbi AX4200
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.installed Orbi and it worked great for first two weeks. Had a power interruption causing router to reboot. Could not get wifi restored. After numerous attempts to reboot modem and router I tried factory reset to Orbi still unable to get wifi. Tried to reinstall Orbi app and reinstall system....no luck. Finally called Netgear router support. After having tech with broken English walk me thru everything I have previously tried he said I have problem with network and for $150 he could have Netgear make repair. No thanks...now have old Netgear router hooked back up and wifi running fine. Really disappointed because it ran great.

Decent but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In general, I am getting, at best (meaning within 10 feet of the base), ~2/3 of the speed the Orbi app is indicating for the base unit is getting. Significant degradation through the satellite despite it being within 30 feet of the base. Even for a Wifi 6 enabled device. They need to make available additional satellites.

Ok, but super basic.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They work just fine, good coverage for the entire house, but the administration tools are desperately lacking. There are none. Just a basic interface with no ability to configure firewall settings or allow site blocking for kids.

Very good wifi mesh system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mesh wifi system is very easy to set up. But it price tag is overly expensive compared to other big box store.

Not impressed.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this system running in my townhouse for a few months now. I've had to reset the system three times. I bought these as a replacement for my OG Google WiFi for added bandwidth and WiFi 6 capability. I regret this decision. I have the main router and one access point in the same location as the Google router and one of the access points (upstairs). Obviously, I eliminated the point that was originally in the basement. No problem, right? After all, the townhouse is only 2600 sf total, and that's spread over three stories. Wrong. Signal in the basement is only average at best. Needless to say, the shortcomings of this system make easy for me to recommend AGAINST it!

Speed not translated to Wifi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 1GB speed from my ISP. I purchased these and when I got them installed they did not produce the speed of the router provided by the ISP. I then switched to Eero and the speed was significantly better.

Hardly Knew Them.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as a permanent replacement to a defective Asus router. I had heard Great Things about Orbi and figured for the extra cash. I would at least get a better experience. Unfortunately for the 2 hours I had this router. It was nothing short of terrible. The App could not find my Unit and after 3 failed Attempts I contacted customer support. I then spent another hour of just trying the same 3 different trouble shooting methods with a Support rep. I would encourage anyone on the fence to give the unit a shot. I hope my experience is just a one off. But none the less, I feel like buyer shod be aware of what they are getting for 400 bucks.
